Hey! My name's Brooke. I'm 19 (I'll be 20 on March 4th). I'm absolutely SICK of being this overweight and I have tried absolutely everything to try to get most of this weight off. I'm doing this for me and for no one else. I am doing it purely for my own happiness and no one else's. My mom, coincidentally, had the Roux-n-Y Gastric Bypass. I watched what she went through, and I told myself that I would never have surgery to get the weight off. As you can see, I have changed my stance on that. I have exhausted every option, and I know now that surgery is the way for me to go. I'm scared that my friends an co-workers are going to think that I am taking the easy way out, but I really try not to focus on what others think. I don't have many friends. Just two really, my mom and my best friend Chastity. And as long as they support me, I really don't care what anyone else thinks. I try to please everyone, but as we all know, that is pretty much impossible. I am really looking to make some friends on here, for moral support, as I do have those moments where I get terrified.
