Thanks that was honestly the worst pain I have ever had I thought I was dying! -
If anyone knows any tips to help me with the gas I am open to any suggestions. I had surgery yesterday and I am walking and taking Gas X but I am still in pain! Pre op weight 246, surgery weight 224, Goal 160, surgery 2/6/13

Great news around 3am I took two Gas X went for an hour long walk, came home and had a few teaspoons of hot tea, while sitting up wrapped up in a heating pad! Well I feel asleep and here I am awake gas all gone!!! Also a friend that's a nurse told me to cup my hands and pat my ribs and that also helped some gas escape! So pass on the news if anyone is suffering!!!!!! -
10 days out and still not allowed purees.

I have to stay on just clear liquids not even protein shakes for the first week then two more weeks full liquids! I thought this was a little weird cause they talk about how important your protein and vitamins are! -

I know some people have it easy and some have it hard but I really wish I could have had it easy! The worst part has been the gas pain, nothing seems to work. I can't expand my lungs all the way due to the pain so I just keep hyperventilating! And just think I thought I was this big toughie who had two kids no pain meds. I would pop out five more easy to have this pain over! -

I will walk more I have been walking 15-20 mins every hour and for a while it worked then all of a sudden I got hit with this whammy! -

Yes I have been on and off the heating pad and nothing, it really feels like I'm being strangled! -
I am hunched over in pain from the gas and I don't know what I can do more to get it out I have tried Gas X, and walking!

Tomorrow is the day I have been waiting on and now that it's so close I am freaking out. I just keep thinking about all my favorite foods and how much I used to eat knowing I will never eat like that again!

I was also sleeved yesterday and I am still in the hospital and no way should you feel guilty I am also having bad gas pains an its like being ripped apart. I just had 1/4 of a sf popsicle and the pain is unbelievable! The best you can do is take care of yourself! You can even recruit the little one to help you out they can be little Dr's!'n Pre op weight 246, surgery weight 224, Goal 160, surgery 2/6/13

It is really hard to get liquids down and I can not even think of food. I was do afraid that I was going to be starving only to discover every sip of Water is a fight! Pre op weight 246, surgery weight 224, Goal 160, surgery 2/6/13 -
Mine was 14,500 and I my insurance also covered all but 10% so I had to pay 300.00 surgeon fee and a 1,000 hospital fee! Pre op weight 246, surgery weight 224, Goal 160, surgery 2/6/13

I am sore but feeling good. I have been making a point to walk 15-20 mins every hour to help with gas because the pain from gas is terrible. I still don't feel hungry and besides a medicine cup half full of ice chips I haven't had anything to drink since 4pm Tuesday. Pre op weight 246, surgery weight 224, Goal 160, surgery 2/6/13

Second day post op up early and getting my walk on! These people told me they have never seen anyone walk as much as me. I tell you what though I have had no more gas bubbles though! Pre op weight 246, surgery weight 224, Goal 160, surgery 2/6/13
