    and it is true! Protein

    I use the whey protein shakes..triple chocolate is my favorite. Sleeved 12/26 and I am down 38lbs as of today ....definitely push the fluids and protein..makes a big difference..walking about 3x a week ...down 4 sizes ...im pleased with my results the only thing I cant drink water alone, dont like the taste so I always have crystal light packets with me.

    MY ONE MONTH PEEPS

    I was also sleeved on 12/26 ...I am down 30lbs have been on a stall for 2 weeks now..havent started exercising yet as I am just exhausted when I get home from work stepped up my intake of fluids this week hoping to see a difference on the scale..one day I will be down 3lbs and then up 2..when I weigh I am still the same. I can tell in my clothes that I am loosing. Just wish it was faster. I keep telling myself to be patient but its so hard..im already to be down 100lbs . Glad to see so many people tell their stories so freely and answer any questions that others may have. Any tips for the newbie that seems to be stuck on the scale???

    5 Confessions (Join In)

    Here are my confessions: 1) miss going out with my friends after work for cocktail hour. 2) craving my ban mi Vietnamese sandwhich 3) have not exercised at all since being sleeved on 12/26/12...at 33lbs lost as of yesterday 4) would love to eat a pint of Ben and Jerrys Phish Food icecream..I settle every sunday with a trip to Yogurt Bear for fatfree sugarfree soft yogurt. 5) does not get over 50ml of fluid a day in 6) would love to be inlove again..after my failed relationships food was my lover and it too hurt me...but I was unhappy due to my size so I can honestly say a lot was my fault 7) said I was happy with myself when I really wasnt just to have people get off my back about my weight

    seven weeks out starting to throw up!

    I was sleeved on 12/26/12 with hiatal hernia repair. I was on protonix and then after the surgery no one told me to restart it. I started to have some nausea and epigastric pain so I restarted it. Feeling much better. no nausea since restarting it and tolerating most foods with no problems.
  5. I totally agree with you ...I feel like I have lost more inches...everyone says I am getting thinner but of course I rely on the number from the scale. This is all new t o me so I will just go with it and try to push more fluids and exercise.
  6. I have no idea what my calorie intake is but it probably isnt enough. Im going to really start journaling next week. Its just so hard while I am at work
  7. It prep really didnt bother me at all because I just kept telling myself it wasnt f orever ..at work I am so busy it didnt phase me at all ...the weekends were ruff ..I lived on wonton soup without the wontons of course ...good luck
  8. Good luck to you both. I also had hiatal hernia repaired at the same time and I will tell you I was miserable that first week. I just barely got back to sleeping in my bed...I lived in the recliner for 4weeks . No trouble with vomiting.. a little nausea the 2nd week but I restarted my protonix and that calmed things down. Appetite started to come back a week after.

    Hi ...I am 38 also and been on yoyo diets forever. I am post sleeve and prior to surgery I lost 21lbs on liquids and protein shakes. I had the sleeve on 12/26 and since then I have lost only 8lbs. They say this is normal but I was expecting more. I guess I am expecting too much as I am still early on. Not drinking alot I do good to get 30ml a day. Good luck and any questions you will find the answers here every one is so helpful
  12. Red can resemble blood so I was told three days prior no reds ...good luck...I had to do it for two weeks
  13. I am gour weeks out and have stalled also I also not getting all my fluids in...it is very hard with my work schedule..but I have been getting that this is normal and I need to push fluids and really increase exercise. I keep it low fat low carb and sugar free ...good luck
