    Dizzy at work

Could you try eating something small around that time before it starts? What about fatigue since it only happens at work? Dehydration and pregnancy already mentioned. Only other thing comes that comes to mind is anemia but you said this only happens while at work.

    Pre-op diet...WOW!

Preop diet was harder for me than after surgery! You'll do great!

gas pain 12 days post Op

That's where mine was. I use to massage my shoulder area for relief but it didn't help. Not to scare you but if it's too painful you should call your doc. Left shoulder pain can be gas or sometimes it's the only sign of a leak. So make sure you don't have a fever associated with the pain!

    1 oz every 15 mins?

That was the rule I had to follow for the first 24 hours.

When do the gas pains stop?

If you had intolerance prior it could be on high at the moment. It could be your new tummy reacting to the yogurt or it could be the intolerance. Some things can take time to readjust too. I can't have ice anymore in my drinks without an upset stomach and I couldn't do any form of chocolate protein/pudding, etc for 3 months without pure nausea.

    Not losing fast enough!

I've noticed when the scale doesn't move the inches do. I tend to drop the pant sizes then almost like my body is catching up!
  7. Because you started smaller going smaller the weight loss probably doesn't appear as drastic or as fast as the first time around. Obviously you have lost weight and are a size six! You'll probably be a zero by the end I had some comments around 3 months and then 4 months is when they really started noticing. I'm down 70 and can probably fit into a 16W but I haven't gone shopping LOL

Does the heartburn ever go away?

I haven't had heartburn after eating but if I eat too close to bed I can regurgitate. It's nasty stuff. Has happened 3x now since April. I'm on prilosec every day for a year.

    weight gain?

I gain five pounds with my period, like clockwork. I try to get as much water in as I can but it's just my body. You are going through hormonal changes between the pill and the weight loss so I suspect your body will figure it out soon enough.

When do the gas pains stop?

Try a warm heating pad and some peppermint tea. It took me about 3 weeks to get rid of the gas and sometimes it lodged in my shoulder.
  11. I honestly have no idea. Something about fast food grilled chicken doesn't do it for me so I just don't eat it LOL I was 4 months this past August 16th and I had my first taco (crunchy) from taco bell two nights ago and won't be eating it again anytime soon. We eat out a good bit but I avoid the fast food as much as I can. Now I'm not criticizing anyone by me saying I avoid it. Fast food is just a slippery slope for me.

    Ready to call ot quits

It's fun giving our bodies a kick start with food I average 60-90 g carbs a day and my NUT said to stay under 120g a day. I see plenty of people doing less and doing more. I seem to respond to that little niche in between. But, I can't go without any carbs. My daily (seriously, every day) is 1/2 - 1 oz stacy's pita chips and a low fat colby jack cheese stick. I don't eat bread ever as I don't feel good but I do get carbs in from other foods.

    Please dont judge me but.....

No judgement. You just don't want any food to get stuck in your staples
  15. I'm not completely for sure. I've heard you lose the most the first year ... I've heard at 6-8 mo it slows down ... I've heard people still lose after 2 years. I don't know what is going to happen. LOL I'm just rolling with it!
  16. I measure my food at home but I don't when I'm out. For the first time in what seems like forever I can actually feel full and then I stop when I have those signals.

    Hooray my stall is over

Congrats! The constipation gets better (at least it did for me) as time went on. I never took anything but I could definitely go 4-5 days with nothing

I think I ate too much

It will take some time before you get a lot in. It was several months before I got the recommended protein amount and I still cant' do that without at least one protein shake a day. Stay hydrated first and then get in what you can after. If you are full don't push it. Your body will let you know

    Big mistake

You won't get a lot of calories in the beginning

    How much does everyone eat?

I'm 4 months out today and I can eat 4-4.5 oz. My NUT said by one year I should be able to eat a cup of food. When that happens I'm to do less snacking.
  22. So I'm almost 4 months out but the hair loss started about a month ago. It was so bad that I got my hair chopped off to a pixie-like cut so at least I would lose shorter strands. Now I'm starting to get very noticeable thinning spots on the hair line by my forehead. I'm eating 80-100 g of protein a day, taking my vitamins and biotin, getting my water in, etc. My MIL is actually sending me a special shampoo that's suppose to help. Anyways, I know it's not abnormal to lose hair but I was curious if anyone knew a time frame as to how long it should last. Parts of my scalp is actually sore like I had it in a tight pony tail all day long.
  23. I was 278.2, 270 on surgery date and 211.4 this morning. I feel great! I love that I can finally eat salads again too!
