I was back to work after 1 week and no complications at all. Wow cross state marriage....guess you can't get on each others nerves that way. Do you ever come to the Cape?

  14. Hi I live in Florida and my doctor said no swimming or hot tubs for 6 weeks. I just went to Ohio for 3 days and it was tough. I had to buy protein drinks cottage cheese string cheese and yogurt at the grocery store that i kept in a fridge and ate an egg for breakfast. I forgot to take my omeprazole when I was gone too. I'm 4 weeks post op today. plan accordingly. Other then that I did fine. What part of Florida are you coming to? If you are in the Ft. Myers area I will meet up with you!
  15. You have the same story I have (EXACTLY). Even the same weight and weight loss so far. I'm disappointed to but I sure can tell a difference in my clothes big time. I just wish it were coming off quicker. I hear we must be patient but its so hard. Keep in touch and good luck.
  16. Yes yes and yes! They are my favorite too!! Love them and my NUT said they are the best!!!!
  17. Good for you! Love your enthusiasm! Check with your NUT about gum though. I was told I can never chew gum again. It does the same as sucking through straws. I'm not a gum chewer anyhow so no loss for me but just be sure.
  18. I was told it is . I had surgery on February 4 and I am about 1 week late but I know that our body has been through some trauma and our hormones react differently. If it doesn't start after 2-3 weeks check with your doc.
  19. Good luck to you! It's awesome being on this losing side if the surgery. I feel a little lighter everyday. You will not be disappointed. Keep in touch and let us know how you do!
  20. Hi Dina and welcome. You came to the right place. I'm three weeks post op and was in a stall too. I realized I wasn't putting in enough walking so I have added an extra mile to my walk and I walk to the beat of my iPod and I have finally started losing again! Hooray!! I saw my doc yesterday and he told me to do the same. Our body is in shock and still trying to figure out what just happened. Stalls are normal. Just keep plugging away!! you're bound to lose!! Best of luck!
