My best friend is a cosmetologist s and told me the best products for hair loss is Bodley products. They are only sold in salons but if you can talk your hairdresser into buying it for you at the supply house it is 50% the cost in a salon. It's a shampoo, conditioner, weekly hair mask and root foam. It's amazing but you must use it as directed. Almost every beautician I talked to said its better then Nioxin. I also take Biotin. Start this as soon as possible to prevent hair loss. I'm terrified of it since my hair is thin to begin with. Good Luck!!!

I was told Bosley is much better then Nioxin for this problem. But be proactive and start right away to prevent hair loss from starting. If only I had thick hair to begin with but I don't! Boooooo!!

Day 3 on my post op sleeve too. Minimal pain, some diarrhea from the contrast for the leak test (no leaks) and I got a kiss from my cute doctor. This is a teaching hospital so I feel like I'm on Greys Anatomy! Bonus!!!! I am probably staying one more night because I am having trouble getting fluids in but no vomiting. Just had my drain pulled too...not too bad..more if a strange tickle feeling. Keep up the good work my fellow 2/4 sleeves and prayers to all the rest of my feb sleeve buddies.

Hanging in there! It's about what I expected. I'm still in the hospital and you can never get sleep in this place. Here it is almost 2:00 am and I'm on my smart phone. I'm a little sore and itchy. Can't really take in any fluids yet but I'm trying.

I'm doing ok. As of now I think I might be able to make it back to work next Monday if I take it good and slow. I would love two weeks off but we will see.

I was sleeved yesterday and I too am concerned about hair loss. Luckily my best friend is a hairdresser and I was told to use Bosley products . It has made a big difference already plus I started Biotin. If you know a hair dresser who is willing to pick it up for you at the supply store at half the cost it is well worth it. Look into it

Hi guys. I had a successful surgery but on boatloads s of reglsn and zofran and pca pump. Trying to walk walk walk too. So glad to hear it gets better with each day, I'm taking my pill dissolved in a little water right now. Yuk!! Glad you did well!

Today is the day of my amazing good fortune. Speaking of fortune... My fortune cookie a couple weeks ago said I have memorable and pleasure events ahead of me and my Chinese word on the back was "banana". Sweet fortune, huh? We will be at the hospital in about a half hour.????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

We are in this together. I'm surprisingly calm but that may change when I get there. I'll just ask for sown thing to relax me in my iv as soon as they put it in. You should do the same. They should do it. Don't worry sweetie! We have all our new friends supporting us. Xoxo

My surgery is in less then 16 hours away and I am calm cool and collected. Last week I was having panic attacks, the week before I was second questing, the week before I cried alot and the week before that I was terrified. Just goes to show you go through the whole gamut of emotions before the big day but I am so ready now!!! I'm excited and ready to move on to the next half and the better half of my life. For all of you who have supported me the past 5 weeks thank you from the bottom of my heart. I couldn't have done this without you all. God bless you and continued success for a healthy and happy life. Talk to you soon!!!
