My surgery is in less then 16 hours away and I am calm cool and collected. Last week I was having panic attacks, the week before I was second questing, the week before I cried alot and the week before that I was terrified. Just goes to show you go through the whole gamut of emotions before the big day but I am so ready now!!! I'm excited and ready to move on to the next half and the better half of my life. For all of you who have supported me the past 5 weeks thank you from the bottom of my heart. I couldn't have done this without you all. HI, I was the same way, then the night before surgery I slept great, the morning of laughing and joking and very calm. Then when I got taken back to pre-op in hospital to get set up for surgery still very calm. I did ask the nurse if anyone ever hops off the bed and runs out? She said yes and most people that do it just come back another time but sicker!! She told me I should be very excited about this and I am going to do wonderful!! The worst part of the whole day was getting in the iv,because my veins are deep and small. The nurse told me this was going to be the most pain and uncomfotable I will feel all day and she was right!!! So don't worry everything will be alright!! Heather
