Can you change drs after surgery?
Oh my that is horrible. I would be on the internet searching for another DR. immediately. That does not make any since. I would give the doctor a piece of my mind when he seen me.

Feeling lots of emotions
It will all workout for you. You do not need to stress with you surgery coming near. Since this is a minimum invasive procedure you will not be down long. Ask your husband to step up and take charge until you get better. He has to be there for you in this time of need. Good luck with your procedure.

Sleeved on Jun 20/2013...lost & sad.
i don't think you should be sad. You should know that this is a process and it all takes times. The weight will not fall off over night. The sleeve is a wonderful tool that will work for you. You just had surgery so there is probably some swelling and as that swelling goes down so will your weight. Due to your injuries the only thing I would suggest as far as exercise is walking but you may want to ask your doctor what exercise is best for you.

Gas .. Any suggestions?
Well gas x strips that melt in your mouth was my friend and it works miracle gas was gone by day 5 for me. Dont forget to walk as much as possible every 30 minuteto an hour when you are awake. The gas is worse than the actual surgery for me so good luck. Congrats on surgery!!!!

Thanks- 6 months surgerversary before and after pics
The last part of my post was supposed to say I keep the photos as a reminder of where I never want to be again.- 6 months surgerversary before and after pics
Hi sleeve family, Today marks 6 months since I was first sleeved. I was sleeved January 14, 2013. My starting highest weight was 299lbs. my surgery weight was 297lbs. Today I am weighting in at 205.5lbs. This surgery has truly been life changing. All the support from my family spouse and of you guy here on this site has help me get through this journey. I still have 35 to 50lbs to lose but I am just overwhelmed with how far I have come thus far. Looking at my before pictures I get emotional. At time I just want to delete them but I keep them as a constant reminder of where I never - Out of the WOODS!
AWESOME!!!!- Finallly
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!- hunger pains
I eat meat for every meal and I eat vegetables every now and then.- hunger pains
How often do you eat? I eat about 4oz. Every 2 to 3 hours. I feel I eat too much is this normal?- January sleevers......what's your weight loss so far?
I totally agree with you. I can't break these ladt 8 pounds come on onederland.- Hair loss?
I am 5 months out and mines have been falling out for the past 2 months. I dont know when it will stop but I surely hope it will be soon. I am tired of the balls of hair and I am sure you are too. I keep thinking is all my hair going to fall out. But I hear it gets better with time so I guess just be patient and hope it stops soon.- 3 weeks out & stalled
It's okay stall are very common for everyone. So don't worry yourself just give it time and the weight will begin to fall off. Feeling huge is a mind thing cuz I still feel the same way after losing 88lbs. So just focus on your main goal and dont let this minor bump in the road get you down you have a long journey ahead.- A little gross lol
Well you are not alone. I have mines twice a month since surgery and I am on birth control pills. I am already Anemic so it just makes me pretty weak. I can fall asleep as I am typing right now at work. But Doctor said it will all pan out in time. He says everyones body reacts differently.- I'm APPROVED! 3 day approval!
Congrats!!!! Good luck on that liquid diet. I am glad my doctor did not require that.- I need help I can drink a whole bottle of wine
I am not a expert so I do not know how bad you are destroying your sleeve but alcohol has a lot of calories in it especially beer. Your already lacking and missing certain nutrients and substituting a meal for alcohol will not help you at all. I am sure we all have had a glass of wine or here and there but an entire bottle it a bit much. How long has it been since you were sleeved? Not sure if you feel you have to drink but if you do feel that way you may want to consider talking to a counselor about it because you could be jeopardizing your health.- Snack
I think it is a good snack but the bad things is it is high in sodium.- HELP ME! Put on Reglan or another acid blocker for reflux since surgery? Did you gain or stop losing? *sigh*
I am sorry you are experiencing this. I had a few stalls in the beginning and gained a pound or two here and there. But stall happen through out the entire process. I know it is hard but don't give up you have come too far to give up now. The meds are only temporary so hopefully you want need them soon and the weight will just begin to fall off. As for the blood thinners I did not have to take those at all. I am not sure why they gave them to you. But I am anemic anyway so I probably wouldn't need them.- SUPER MAJOR NSV!
Congrats!! That is amazing- So happy! I am much lighter
Congrats this is a very exciting journey - 6 months surgerversary before and after pics
