My Dumping Syndrome horror story (read if you dare)
oh wow... What a story I experienced the same thing just last week. I was at the store I had just had lunch with the girls and we decided to go shopping then the feeling hit me. I was not too far from home. But I wanted to make it home cuz I knew it was going to be a bad one plus i hate some store restrooms. So i told the girls I had to leave never explaining why. But I hurried to my car then as I pull out the parking lot it hit me. I felt it about to slip out. I am driving as fast as I can to get home then I truly realize no way I will make it. So I had to stop at this gas station that is usually very clean thank God for that. Just as i start walking to the rest room i can feel a little easy its way out. I ruined my underwear but not my clothes. I can relate with the smell you smelled caused mines was horrible the entire store was smelling with my funky butt. I was embraced when I walked out the restroom and realized I smelled so bad it spread throughout the store. I laugh everytime I think about it now and your story just reminded me so much of myself and my experience I had to laugh again.

- Noobie Getting Sleeved in July
Congrats on getting your date. Its okay to be nervous. Just continue to remind yourself why you are doing this and what your end result will be. I recommend Premier Protein shakes you can get them from Sams Club and Costco each shake has 30 grams of protein in them and I think they are like 12oz. there are 12 in a pack and they will cost about $17. They are pretty tasty as well. I did not buy any meals from my doctor. First out of surgery I had strained chicken noodle soup and broths. Apple sauce popsicles. add a little unjury unflavor protein powder to your soup and applesauce. I think you will slowly figure out what you can and can not have and of course you have this site that will help you through your journey when you are unsure of something.- Sleeve 4/22/13
Congrats!!!! Keep it up.- Fast Food
My favorite fast food meal came from Jack in the box. I would get the ultimate cheese burger meal the cheese burger was 818 calories and the fires was 557 calories for a total of 1375 calories. Its surprise how much I use to eat. Now I may eat 600 to 700 calories in a day.- Side and Stomach sleepers-How long...
I cant sleep good without sleeping on my stomach. I found myself on my stomach a day after surgery. It was just hard to turn over to get off of my stomach when I woke up.- Looking for a replacement for my lifelong diet pepsi~~
Well they have diet coke that is made with splenda. I have never had it personally but it does not have aspartame in it.- A month and a half in and....
No need to fear you will lose much more. We all hit stalls at some point. I have hit several stall throughout my journey. I am 5 month out now and I am presently in a stall. My starting weight was 297 I am 213 and have been for the past 2 weeks. So just stay focused on the big goal you have set for yourself. Stick to your diet increase your water and make sure you are getting in all of your protein that is required. Change up your exercise routine. Sometimes we have to push harder to get up the hill. Just know you are doing great you are down 40lbs in a month and a half something that beyond beyond amazing. Keep up the good work.- Help me
Try cheese sticks, yogurts, sliced turkey or slice chicken breast protein shakes that are sold ready to drink water of course fruit cups and apple sauce. Just a few suggestions.- Last Day
Congrats!!! Good Luck on your surgery tomorrow!!!! I hope all goes well- So Fustrated!
I do get dizzy but only when I move to fast. I can not make any sudden moves. I thought it was just normal and I was hoping it would eventually go away. But those moment that you feel you may black out I have but I know when they are coming, so i immediately sit down to make the feeling go away. I have never actually passed out or blacked out. I am 5 months out and I know I am not much help here because I don't know what it is. I assume it a side affect to the surgery.- So many emotions!
Being nervous is very normal. My surgery was scheduled so fast I didn't get to experience the nervous part only got the I am so excited feeling. But after the surgery I was liike wow did I really just do this. Yea I did then I was nervous thinking what will I be able to eat. I was so used to stuffing my faced and planning my day around what I wanted to eat for the next meal I could not live my life. So this was life changing for me. It was also be life changing for you. I personally had no complications. Watching those videos can make you very nervous about the process. I would suggest you not watch them anymore. I know you want to know the possible risk and they are important to know but don't go to deep into it if you can help it. Good luck with your surgery!!!!!- meeting the doctor
Good luck on your appointment. The excitement had me the same way at first.- Just approved
Nothing to be scared about. Congrats on getting approved. Just think of all the weight you will lose and how much healthier you will be.- 5 months progress

No the same happened to me I did psych evaluation blood work and that it. The doctor submitted paper work and I was approved within 2 weeks. I have my surgery 11 days later. Don't worry about other and their process cause all insurance companies are different and require different things for different people. Congrats on getting approved.- 5 months progress
Thank you so much.- How much did you lose the 1st week?
I lost 24lbs my first week. Congrats on your weight loss so far.- 5 months progress
Thanks everyone!!! I feel great- HELP
People who have not had the surgery do not understand exactly what you are going through just do your best to eat when your body allows you to. Do not be afraid to try things that have made you throw up. It is all a part of the process of learning how to eat again.- July 15th here
Congrats on getting your date!!!!!!!!!!!! - Noobie Getting Sleeved in July
