My surgery was 5/28 and I'm not on soft foods yet. Still on puree or suppose to be but I'm only drinking because I can't keep anything down.

My date was May 28 and I'm down 25lbs. I am having dumping issues. Every smell makes me sick to the stomach. I'm in my puree stages and the food after I blend it looks like dog food and I get sick to the stomach. I can't eat anything. I'm desperately trying to get my protein shakes down without them coming back up. The only thing that is staying down is water. Frustrated but I'm going make it!!!

Thanks Ms. Reaina. I am not able to start on soft foods until June 28th. I am so ready fir a shrimp salad.

Thank you. I am not taking it regularly but yes I do have the medication. I am not going to do the pureed anymore. I will stick with the protein shakes. I like the Special K chocolate. Thats the only one that works but only when I can get it down. They keep telling me that I have to eat something but I really can't. Why does no one understand that?

I day of surgery, after surgery I kep throwing up pure blood and my doctor check med and said some people do that. Bright red blood and he said it was because if all the meds on an empty stomach but told me not to be alarmed. I haven't done it since then.

I was Sleeved on 5/28 and I still was experiencing gas as late as last week. Not since then. My problem is throwing up constantly.

I had my surgery on May 28. I haven't had any complications at all e xcept I can't keep anything down!!! Evetything I smell, I feel like I have to throw up. I can look at something pureed and I throw up. I try to do more Soup and I throw up. I can only drink Water and I can barely get my Protein in because it has a flavor to it and I throw it back up. Has anyone experienced this??

Has anyone ever had this issue?? Ok now. I only started on my liquid diet on yesterday. However, I take blood pressure meds that make me sick on the stomach when I take it on an empty stomach. What can I eat light with this medicine?? Blssd-gma

Thanks Kathy!!!! This has been a long journey, but now its here!!! I had one lady here that I work with tell me that during the evening she went to bed early to keep from thinking about being hungry. WOW, talk about psychological. Blssd-gma

WOW!!!! How fast is this??? I received a phone call today from my doctor's office and I have been scheduled for my surgery on Tuesday, May 28th!!!! I was told to start my liquid diet today!!! Now, that I have a date, now it's real. But I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. Blssd-gma

My insurance company approved me on yesterday and I just called my drs office this morning but right now I don't have a date yet. I am extremely nervous already!!!!!! Its like as soon as my insurance company called me, my heart feel in my feet and I got extremely nervous. More so about the 2-week liquid diet. Good luck to everyone!!!!!

The greatest part is everyone says they have to stay on the insurance company but not I. My drs. office submitted the claim on last Wednsday and it was approved on yesterday!!!! #FAVOR

Hallelujah!!!!! Blue Cross/Blue Shield approved my surgery and my deductible has been met for the year!!!!! What's next?? I assume a date will now be set. liquid diet, I need help from you'll if what does this consist of?? Really 2 weeks???
