Wow guys I am really nervous now. Garcia did a friends of mines surgery Nov 28. I stopped by to ask him how it went. He had a leak and has 4 drainage tubes and a feeding tube. They are going to convert him to a RNY but haven't done it before. I suggested he go to South Bay or San Diego where they have done a zillion. The only thing that calms my fears is that he has been totally non compliant since day 1. And I've talked to many here who are problem free

When they asked what kind I said hiatal hernia which is true, it will be part of the procedure. To be honest a bride is too excited about her wedding than to really care who is there. No they didn't call. The surgeon reviewed the findings at the consult. Nothing is going to slip between the cracks because the surgeons don't want to take risks of a failure.

Wanted to give it a couple of months to see if the weight would come off on its own. I was a 10 until they put me on these meds and nothing worked so I decided to try the sleeve. Now that I'm off the meds I'm hoping!!

I've been a size 10 until they put me on psych meds. I'm now a 2x. I found a new psychiatrist who changed my meds and have lost 20 ponds in 4 weeks. I cancelled my surgery until may to see if the weight loss continues. My question is, are there people who don't lose on the sleeve? I've heard of 2 cases but they are foodies.
