Hey mimistar. It is beautiful! The hospital is like a resort. You will love the nurses- friendly, helpful, caring. I put a translator app on my iPad so tat helped communicate with them. Dr Castaneda is wonderful!!!! We were discharged today now at the condo resting and healing until we fly home Wednesday.

5:13 Mexico time. Laying in bed. Cant believe this is over and my journey is into the next step. Day 2 post op Day after surgery was VERY nauseas all day. Determined it was from pain med. went for leak tests- no leaks!! Dr said everything went well. Was given lime sherbet - was nice to feel something cordon my lips. Being discharged today and back to the condo to rest until we fly home Wednesday. Praying for a speedy recovery. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes everyone!! xx

Well I'm done!!! Was sleeved this evening about 730 this evening. Fair amount of pain. Dozy but having trouble sleeping- I sleep in small intervals. Hurts to take deep breaths- I'm sure that's normal? Thank you all for you kind works of encouragement and prayers. Thinking about all sleeved today!! Dr Castaneda in puerta Vallarta was fantastic!!

Good morning everyone. Well my BFF and I are at the airport- getting ready to board. Off to puerto Vallarta Mexico- surgery is tomorrow. So nervous and excited to start this journey! Weight on Monday was 211.8, BMI 37.6 5' 3". Wish us luck and send prayers our way. I am so scared about complications and getting put under for the first time. Good luck and prayers to all today
