  1. It is crazy that there is such a variety of opinions from doctors.
  2. wow.. lots of diversity between surgeons.
  3. I probably have already screwed up. I have taken some soup and blended it up then ran it through a sive, so it is a liquid.. At least I hope that is considered a liquid. I dont think it is different then protein shakes, or pudding consistency.
  4. Hello everyone, This is my first post. I am 9 days post-op and just had my drain pulled out today.. Yippee, it caused a lot of pain and discomfort, on both sides of my stomach. My question is I know that I should be on full liquids for a while, but my doc states 5 weeks as he is VERY conservative. When are most of you able to move to purees? I am not wanting to eat food but 5 more weeks of this seems crazy. thanks.

PRE OP LIQUID DIET DAY 7: CAN I JUST EAT HUMMUS BY THE SPOONFUL?

I am on day 11 of the pre surgery diet and I am on their prepackaged shakes... They are not my fav.. I started at 236 and am down to 234 and surgery is on Tue the 18th. I am starting to bet a bit anxious.. Only really worried about the leak risk.
