  1. Hello everybody, I normally lurk on websites like this absorbing information and ideas to help me make decisions. But, I feel that this is something that I'll need to find a support group to help me understand what is going on with this process. Its not like buying a new Truck! I'm a 44 year old Man that has gained a remarkable amount of weight since having a Motorcycle accident in 1995. I weighed in at 220lbs at 6' 1" and was very happy. After the accident, my activity level dropped to nothing due to the complications I had with my leg and knee. Finally had a total knee replaced, but by then, the weight had taken over and I was doomed to being overweight. I currently weight in at 340lbs, I have a BMI of 46.1 and have no energy, joint pain, easily exhausted, etc... I'm hoping this is the right journey for me to take. I do like the non-permanent installation of this device. Also the adjustability of the device to help me control at a later date. I look forward to reading and meeting a great many people on this forum.. Byron
