    The sleeve and hair loss.

We use a high dose Biotin and must take it daily otherwise hair falls out. Biotin did not thicken our hair only kept it from falling out. A nutritonist recommended to add Paba but I only took it for a while and discontinued it because I started a new treatment regimen for something else and didn't want to take something with it that I new little aboout but it might be something you can research on your own and see if you might benefit from it. I also use the Nioxin occasionally in case the DHT is building up lol.

    b12 injections

Hi Betbigfela, I get mine in 30ml vials and inject 2-4 times a week. There are two kinds, buy the one that is spelled Methylcobalamin, not the other one.I inject into area 2-4 inches to the left or right of my belly button. There should be no pain. Use super thin insulin pins. I was not going to refill my prescription because I can't really feel it's effects. I like another product which has L-Carnitine and B12 mixed together. My wife (she had the sleeve) swears it helps her and boosts her energy so I went ahead and got some more. L-Carnitine DOES sting by the way but you can buy special formulas were it has a numbing agent to help with that FYI. Like the other poster said, go on the hardcore bodybuilding forums and they can point you in the right direction for a source. :-) Also if you for some reason do have to pay and see a doctor, put this on a list of prescription to ask for and get all your goodies once and for all, also ask for 90 day supply with numerous refills and you should be good for a year.

Vitamins covered by a flex pay?

Yes I have in the past but had to get a prescription for the protein powder from my doctor and then upload that along with the receipt for reimbursement. If you want to buy directly from pharmacy you will get stuck with what they have and pay too much. Trust me, easier and better deal to do reimbursement way. Hope that helps.
  5. Hi everyone. My honey is 2 years post op sleeve surgery. I'm currently on fertility meds and Lord willing I will be gtg in a couple of months. Late this month I have a appt set up to see her endo. Can anyone share with me what Vitamins and minerals you took to ensure a healthy pregnancy. Also want to hear from those who did not have a healthy pregnancy and what we can learn from you to avoid problems. For example, a guy told me his wife was having miscarriages and that she was low on folate/ or folic acid and told me to make sure she gets on that. I got her a low dose 400mcg and she is taking that for now until we have our consult later this month with doc. Any tips? Thanks!
