I am in grand rapids but already ad my surgery with another surgeon!
-
Oh my...so can't wait to be able to eat these!
-
Congratulations! I had surgery on 12-11 as well!
-
My surgeon gave tylenol before and after surgery on a schedule I believe.
-
I had no lifting restrictions from my doc...just activity as tolerated and the first week I avoided picking up my son. The second week I did a lot more of picking him up and I started having a lot of pain. I would say to at least give yourself 2weeks. My son is pretty big though at 33lbs

My poor hubby stayed til 230 and then left because I wasn't waking up. lol I did want him there during surgery in case anything went wrong and a decision needed to be made but for the rest of the day I didn't care

I checked and it is okay because it's a tylenol product. Here is the link if you prefer to look for yourself.

If it starts to change color/smell make sure they have another look at it. If it stays the thin bloody stuff it should be fine!

I want to run a 5k, go ziplining, get my groove back...maybe start hiking? I just want to get out with my son and live...sick of wasting days inside!

I definitely sleep 8 hours...you aren't usually hungry after surgery so meals are usually just planned events, not something you are dying to do.

Gypsy, either way just make sure you are the kind of friend that you would like them to be. Encourage them and share knowledge, it would be awesome to drop some pounds with a friend, even if not by the same avenue. I have a friend who is eating healthy and has lost quite a bit of weight and was probably one of the least supportive people when she found out I was having surgery. She felt like I could do it on diet and exercise like her or like I have before. I was very upfront with her about my situation and why I chose surgery and that it was not something I chose on a whim. I have tried to be supportive of her weight loss and can only hope that she will be as supportive of mine! Good luck!

Nooooo... Not at all. I eat the older toddler trays and pouches. Dishes like ravioli' date=' chicken stew, blk bean Soup, and many more. Add you own spices and/or ingredients and it's a perfect size and textured tasting meal.[/quote']
I eat the grilled toddler chicken nuggets and turkey meatballs...good portions

I will try harder. I've never looked for scrubs but now we have to wear kaiser ugly blue scrubs cause we do procedural sedation so they treat us like we are part of the operating room crew and we dress at work. I hate it but that will work in my favor for the coming months. I find cute stuff at goodwill for my kids as well so I guess even if I still can't find my size I can buy cute and wait to fit into it.
Honestly, I didn't fit into anything that I bought (on purpose). It was all tight or didn't fit at all yet! It will be interesting to see when I can fit into the stuff. :-)

Muskegon here!!I grew up in Muskegon! :-)

This exactly my plan for work. They supply my scrubs so I can wear them in any size I choose. It's the hours off work I need to think about. Guess I will be hitting some thrift stores. I don't mind thrift store shopping but the plus size clothes always suck so I'm trying to hold off till I'm down a few more sizes.
I found a ton of pkus size clothes when I went but you have to try multiple stores! It is a lot harder to find bigger scrubs!

Not too far...I'm in grand rapids! :-)

I'm 33 pounds down and 4 weeks tomorrow. I'm also in MI, what area are you from?

I'm interesred in starting c25k as well! I have never ran in the past but my husband told me I'd never be ablevto run which of course made me mad enough to make a 5 k one of my goals! He's going to get out of his recliner and do it with me too! Lol

glad all my clothes have elastic bands.. I will wear those til they dont stay up anymore..and as for work.. I only wear scrubs at both jobs.. so those are elastic too.. so I will wear those til the elastic doesnt keep them up.. so Ive got a ways to go anyways before I get to that point..Nancy, the last time I lost weight I wore my scrubs til they were so big I flashed someone! Lol trying to be more conservative this time! :-)
