  1. Propel Zero is the only thing I can get down.
  2. On Pinterest LessOfSarah has a great board with WLS Party Nibbles. Check it out!
  3. I hear Trader Joe's has some good frozen turkey meatballs.
  4. I second the Centrum Chewables - they taste good!
  5. Well, I am pretty sure I used to put at least 5 servings on a sandwich! I actually can't eat spicy just yet - too many acid problems. ETA: Didn't mean to poop on the party! Carry on with your Sriracha-lovin' selves!
  6. Makes me sick to think how much Chinese food I could put away pre-op. Ugh.
  7. This isn't an ideal post-op snack by any means, but SmartFood Popcorn goes down real nice. Don't tell!
  8. I had the same problem and read on here to take two fiber gummies. There are some made by FiberWell that are 5g of carbs (5g fiber) per serving. There is a coupon for them right now at Costco if you have one near you. Two of these around late afternoon makes the magic happen the next morning - like clockwork! It may be too early for you right now, so do try the Miralax. I did that first but I don't want to have to rely on Miralax to be able to do my business.
  9. It's called Sriracha and it's Thai.
  10. Be sure to get calcium citrate as it is the best absorbed. Citracal has some petites that are 400mg, so I take two of those.
  11. Here are some things I had issues with and needed my hubby to help: 1. Putting on undies, pants, and socks 2. Getting things out of high cupboards/low shelves in the fridge 3. Bathing from the waste down and then drying myself off 4. Feeding pets - getting the bowls on the floor 5. Getting out of bed or up off the couch - there is no way I could have done it on my own 6. Driving was uncomfortable and I preferred hubby drove for a few days I could be wimpy, but found that some help was essential for the most basic of things.
  12. If you have frequent diarrhea you should make a concerted effort to increase your fluid intake - and I know this is hard. I drank a lot of strained egg flower soup in your stage and that was easy to get down. You may even try some Gatorade for the short term. I hope you find relief soon, and do see the doc if you think you have the flu.
  13. Very crazy. That would be 684 calories. I will definitely be sticking to my doctor's recommendation, also!
  14. Indeed! By no means was I considering it the be all and end all of Protein recommendations. I guess I was just more shocked by the number it calculated.
  15. Mine lasted about two weeks. It's rough, I know! I think my 6 week one is starting now. Ugh!
  16. I came across this today and gave it a try. It gave me an obscene (meaning way more Protein than I could consume in a day) protein recommendation. Kashi Protein Calculator What do you folks make of this?
  17. Pillboxie is a great pill minder app!
  18. Have you tried Gas-X Strips? They work great!
  19. I would add in a B-12 and an iron supplement.
  20. I'll join in! HW: 298 DOS: 290 (12/20/12) CW: 259.5 GW: 245
  21. It surprises me to hear of so many people who didn't have any post-op leak tests. I had two (and one in the OR).
  22. Between my surgery day and my first day back at work I had 12 days off and that was enough for me.
