  1. My NUT recommended 500mg of calcium, so each bag will last me a month. Phew!
  2. Thanks! I just ordered the caramel from Amazon. I have prime so it was free 2-day shipping, versus $8 shipping from Celebrate.
  3. Indeed! My PCP wasn't down with it and he said it may be something to consider "someday" if conventional weight loss attempts failed. Um... hello? Did he think I had never dieted? I don't know if you are old enough to remember these diets, but I remember trying the Rotation Diet and Deal-A-Meal as an elementary school student. That led to many others. So glad to be losing, eating better, and being more active!
  4. I can find calcium carbonate chewables but not calcium citrate that my NUT recommended. Plus, I am not a fan of all the carbs in gummies/chewables. I am still searching!
  5. I went through Dr. Aceves in Mexicali. Best hospital experience I have ever had! It was $8,750 total.
  6. I put mine on a credit card I have at a local credit union and the interest rate is about 6%. I am in the process of selling a rental and plan to pay it off with those funds. If that takes too long I may refinance my car to pay off the credit card. It's only $8k.
  7. I have the Citracal Petites and I would not call them petite. Here are some photos for reference. They are odd-shaped and quite thick.
  8. I have great insurance but couldn't get my PCP to refer me (BMI 44, diabetes, high blood pressure) and I didn't want to jump through hoops. I paid for it myself and was done with it.
  9. Oh yes, I take zinc, too - 50g every three days.
  10. Do you have a preference as to the different sweeteners in them? I see there are two kinds.
  11. I see you don't eat Greek yogurt, but have you tried it with a bit of sugar-free pudding mix in it? It's so good!
  12. I am almost 7 weeks out and I take 5000mcg of biotin. If it works or helps... well, that is yet to be seen!
  13. I am looking to replace an old Tanita and would like to measure in increments of 1/10 of a pound plus body fat. Wireless and coupled with an iPhone app is cool, too. Not Withings, my main concern is accuracy. If it's less than $200 that's great. Do you use a great one that you can suggest?
  14. I had been considering water aerobics but am not a fan of venturing out in a swimming suit. I don't know how to swim, either. I'd love to just get over the whole swimming suit thing and go!
