  1. Thanks, mommybo. I will get some!
  2. Do you gel them first and add that to your shake or do you just add them right in? How much do you add?
  3. I am definitely noticing it in my face, waist, and thighs. Though, it's as if the space between my waist and thighs is staying the same - and that's what really needs to go!
  4. A little over 6 weeks. Glad the Protein shake isn't in my mind!
  5. Thanks, Fiddleman. My husband says it smells like something rotten. Surgeon said no gum chewing, but I may have to break this rule because it is embarrassing at work!
  6. I feel like I have bad breath 24/7 and wonder if the Premier Protein shakes are the culprit. Anybody else experience this? I am a daily flosser and quite meticulous with my oral hygiene, visit the dentist regularly, etc.
  7. No amount of money is worth losing your health over. Dehydration is serious business.
  8. Thanks! I will check it out.
  9. I used Dr. Aceves and paid $8,500 that covered everything but airfare. This included a ride to/from the San Diego airport, pre-op testing, one night in a hotel prior to surgery and I stayed 3 nights in a hospital - not a clinic. The experience was phenomenal.
  10. I do enjoy popcorn as an occasional snack (Erin's, SmartFood, Trader Joe's olive oil & sea salt, etc.) but absolutely have to weigh out my portion before eating it - either 1/2 oz or 1 oz.
  11. Depending on how long you will be out you may need a bottle of water (or two) also. Have fun!
  12. Maybe your Nexium isn't enough? My surgeon has me on a Prilosec in the morning, Zantac in the afternoon, and another Prilosec in the evening. Definitely stay away from tomatoes and spicy foods. I'd check in with the doc about increasing/adding acid meds. Hope you feel better soon!
  13. Nice! Whole Foods is 90 minutes from me, but TJ is 10.
  14. I went to the buffet at Whole Foods today and they charge by the pound. I grabbed some diced chicken breast that was meant to be a salad topping, a bit of cottage cheese and a tiny bit of quinoa. My lunch was $1.60! Makes more sense than going to a restaurant!
  15. How much sodium is in the TJ kind? I got some jerky at Whole Foods today and it only has 270g, the lowest I have seen. A word to the wise that is worth repeating! Read the labels! I grabbed one that had 18g of Protein and later read that it had something like hydrolyzed soy protein... or something like that.
  16. Isopure has 40g of protein in a 20 oz bottle. It doesn't taste great but it gets the job done!
  17. Now this is happening to me. Surgeon said to snip them. I thought they were falling back inside because they got shorter but now they are back. If they are out of my body they won't dissolve. How will they go away? They poke out of a scar.
  18. Do you gel them first? How much do you add in to your shakes?
