4 days post op and still have terrible gas pressure when I eat. So uncomfortable. Makes me not want to eat. I am getting in about 200 calories and 26 grams of protein. Too weak to walk. Using gas x stripes... -

I am on 2 calcium pills, one milti vitamin, 2 unjury shakes (I can't handle those anymore) protein soup and protein drinks which are nasty. Can't handle those either. -

I am having the same problems with back pain. When they put you under at the hospital your body goes limp. Once they move you being under it strains your back. I heard it takes awhile to recover. Go to a chiropractor or get a massage. But of course contact your doc first. -

I am 3 days post op and have a very weak stomach. I still have to sleep sitting up or i feel like everything is going to come back up. But... no i havent thrown up. The whole to me i thought about it the more i knew it would hurt my incisions. -

I'm jealous of all of you. I'm 3 days post op and not doing so hot. I'm sore and can't get my fluid in I am using the gas x strips but it just won't come out! The gas is stuck in my lungs and stomach it feels like. -

I'm out of the hospital now. Had a couple spoons of broth. I'm scared to swallow my pain meds so I'm trying to deal without. I just do not see how I will get all my protein and water in. I can only sip a little then stop. I also can't lay down. When I do it feels like everything is coming back up! Ugh I'm in the regret phase right now! -

My biggest fear is that something will happen to me while under anistisia. My mom almost died because of her reaction. -
I am the same way. I pass out every time and have non existent veins. It's so embarrassing but I can't help it. The nurse said it's some type of nerve in your brain that does it. I was told to take deep breaths! I always tell then to poke my hand. We'll see how I do tomorrow.

Today is my last day pre-op. Surgery is tomorrow. I got low blood sugar once so I had an hard boiled egg. Other than that I didn't cheat. It's been a long 2 weeks. Ready to get the surgery done and over with. -

Scorpion11 I am the same starting weight as you. Going to be sleeved Wednesday. I was thinking because our starting weight isn't that high that we would lose a lot slower than others. I know on my pre-op liquid only diet I have only lost 5 pounds! While others have lost 20 and we are eating the same things! It's frustrating. -

I'm getting sleeved Wednesday! I'm so nervous now and can't sleep. I'm afraid after surgery that since I can't get much protein in that my blood sugar will drop and I can't eat something sugary to get it up! I'm so ready to be off this pre op diet thought. Full liquids for two weeks... It sucks and I'm so hungry!
