  1. That's what I was afarid of taking if I did take my Fluid pill becoming dehydrated so I get why my surgeon stopped them I get in about 60oz of fluid but I know that's bare minimum that I need but why am I building up fluid. Right now the only thing I take is toprol xl 50mg I guess I will call tomorrow I don't see a cardiovascular dr anymore my pcp has been managing my bp but I haven't seen him since surgery

  2. I find it so much easier to "talk" on here than in person to someone I get so uncomfortable I've never been good with talking my feelings out to someone else ugh just thinkin about talkin to someone gives me a huge stress ball in my stomach as far as drinkin how do you over come that uncomfortable feeling when sharing in person

  3. Before surgery I was taking a Fluid pill for excess fluid and to help with high blood pressure my BP is pretty normal now the dr told me not to take them anymore but I notice now I have swelling and excess fluid in my lower legs and feet I am however still on a beta blocker as my pluse is still very high (always has been even before I was over weight) anyone else experience this the surgeon taking you off meds but you are unsure ?

  4. Effexor XR is a capsule if you shake it you can hear the meds inside those lil balls are suppose to break down and release slowly I could see where you wouldn't get the full benfit from it after surgery I feel like I need to be on something since I've had surgery I am very easily aggregated 90% of the time I never knew how much I used food to calm me down esp at work when its stressful guess that's how I got a 100lbs over weight!

  5. I will be 6 weeks post op tomorrow and the last two days I've had a weird sharp pain under my ribs on the right side my large incension were he removed my stomach is much higher and its not all the time but when it does happen it almost takes my breath away .... also at 3 weeks I went back to work 54 hrs (someone quit while i was out post op) where I stand most of the day and do a lil light lifting mostly things are fast pace and a lil stressful hope I haven't over done anything

  6. Yes it sounds like so I know they asked me over and over about previous surgeries I think he didn't want to be surprised either when he got in there! Luckily I had natural child birth and no abdominal surgeries before I remember the nurse saying if I did the orangs can be pushed upwards and be at the top and it would take longer if he had to move them down ... on another note im praying for you and thank god how luck I was I thought I had it rough because of a wreck a week prior seems like a drop in the hat compared to your story

  7. Not sure if your doctors office told you about Water like mine did. They said Water had surface tension like rain drops they kind stick to a surface some people that happens on the top of there stomach. It is very normal and common. They say add anything to your water and that will break the tension such ad a lemon or mio or anything. It surprises me so many drs office don't hit on this point more.

Thanks so much :) that actually made alot of sense I starting doing half water half gatoraid and its getting alot better
