  1. Omg haha! Luckily mine came unexpectedly while on the toilet! Push with caution!!
  2. Not sure if you saw one of my previous posts but I gained 6 lbs while in the hospital. That really threw me for a loop! But 5 days later it is all back to normal. No where to go but down from here!! Fluids while in the hospital? Gas?
  3. I was instructed 2 weeks full liquid, 2 weeks of pureed/blended, 2 weeks soft, then try foods and eat as tolerated.
  4. I'm also cramping on the side but on my back...like kidney area. Weird.
  5. So I keep getting this cramp in my left side. Feels like something is getting lodged or stuck in the muscle there. Then when I stretch slightly it goes away...then comes back again. It's very close to my main incision. Anyone else experience this?
  6. Sounds good ladies! I found an article that pretty much said just that, theshrinkingchef!
  7. Any suggestions on the best, most effective skin firming techniques, creams, etc...?
  8. Before I was sleeved...I never understood what it meant when I read things like "I can tolerate warm but not cold" "this or that didn't go down right". I'm 5 days post and completely understand now! I'm still experiencing the gurgling and gas pockets with almost every sip. It seems to be diminishing a tiny bit by tiny bit as the days pass. It eventually goes away, right? Also, very much looking forward to my Unjury order to arrive. The strawberry sorbet and chocolate splendor are really great. I put their unflavored in some butternut squash soup and it didn't seem to change the flavor at all. Their chicken soup has proven to be a godsend pre and post op. Thank god for good tasting Protein supplements!!
  9. I was approved at the end of last year. Took a little over 3 weeks. Calling didn't make much of a difference for me. Good luck!!
  10. Yes I am so grateful for all of you!! The help and encouragement I receive here is priceless!! Gram, your posts are the best! So yes, newbie here! Had surgery on the 11th. Feeling pretty good. Better and better every day. Water and protein intake could be better but I'm getting there. Never imagined ingesting anything over 4 oz could be such a struggle! Every day is exciting knowing that my body is changing and I'm becoming a healthier me! Can't wait to see that scale move!
  11. Yeah I GAINED a few lbs from day of surgery to day I got home. I didn't panic though because I KNOW the weight will come off. Just a matter of time.
  12. I had my hubby hide the scale...I plan to do the same!
  13. To someone who just had the surgery...very inspiring! So thank you and congrats!! ♡
