  3. I was sleeved in December by Dr. ganta and he is wonderful and so are the people in his office. No problems at all post op. He is at Austin Bariatrics, and they worked very hard with insurance and got me approved quick. Good luck and just do your resesrch.
  4. I was sleeved on 12/17 and surgery day I was 263 and now I am 214. Still have a hard time getting enough protein down everyday but doing what I can. Seems like all the December sleevers are doing great.

  7. My mother did not agree with me having the surgery but it has been 8 weeks and she is coming around. My dad did not know anything about the sleeve surgery but he researched it and actually took me on my surgery day and was there for me. Your family will come around with a little time especially when they see what a blessing it will be for you and your health. Good luck and keep us posted.

  10. I have been told the stall is normal, my stall has been 8 days and then today I am 3 lbs down from friday. I just hubg in there and did nothing different. I hope your stall is not too long but they say there will be stalls all the time for some.
  11. Made it thru suegery ok. I have had very little nausea. Came home late tuesday evening and now just trying to drink plenty of fluids. Very sore but getting better by the day.

  14. My surgery is at 7am in the morning. Been on a pre-op diet for 2weeks and now liquids only today. Good luck to everyone tomorrow and speedy recovery!

  17. I am scheduled for Dec 17th also. I am nervous and excited, but I know this is the right decision for me and have been waiting for a long time for this surgery. I also have a daughter 21 and she is a grest support. Good luck to everyone!

  21. I am having surgery on 12-17-12 as well and on 800 calorie diet right now and liquids 2 days b4 surgery. I wish everyone luck and hang in there ! We have waited a long time for this and almost to surgery so dont give up now.
