  1. I have no trouble falling asleep..but I find I wake up for a couple of hours in the middle of the night. Or it could be all the sex crazed dreams I have been having because of this massive estrogen dump.
  2. My NUT refuses to answer this question! But I can only average about 500 a day
  3. I would double check the protein label on the Sunkist Protein. I do not believe that it is whey Protein which is what we need. I do love my Syntrax though!!!
  4. Coughing is just to clear the lungs, and if you do the breathing I think that is the most important thing. When you get anesthesia you breathe super low to the point that the little plural sacs in your lungs deflate and kind if stick together. Using a spirometer type device is the attempt to get those sacs filled back up. I coughed only if I had to but did the device and the deep breathing as much as possible.
  5. I was the same! Sleeved 2/12 lost 15 pounds and then the scale didn't move between 2/23 and 3/9. In that time I tried everything! Scale finally started moving again this past Saturday. It was a tough wait let me tell ya. I did however lost 5 inches off my waist and 6 off my hips. Hang in there! It will come off!!
  6. So question..the period the month after you had surgery was it on time or late or weird? My period was due on Friday, and I have only been spotting without any glow..gross I know. There is zero chance I am pregnant..my boyfriend is paranoid about ripping stitches and insists we wait.
  7. At least Taco Hell would clear up any need for a stool softener that day!!!! that was the ONE fast food restaurant I never went to lol
  8. Woohoo!! Stall finally broke!! I have been stalled the last 2.5 weeks after surgery on 2/12. Difference this time is I didn't get discouraged and go binge. I am loving my sleeve!
  9. And people ask you how much you have lost and it isn't different from the two days before when they asked..I feel like a failure. My mom (who did not support this decision) seems to think if I don't lose every day then I am doing something wrong. Sometimes I really want to just scream "F&$@ OFF"!!! Okay rant off
  10. 15 pounds. All within the first like 10 days.
  11. I am in a 10 day stall. Sleeved on 2/12. I find comfort in my tape measure.
  12. How about all the fluids they pump into you during surgery. Not uncommon to gain weight after surgery. Just relax it will come off.
  13. Everyone's calories are going to be very low to start with. It won't be possible to add more until you can get to other foods. In the meantime this phase only lasts a couple of weeks so drink the shakes, drink skim milk, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
  14. Uh it isn't broken it is telling you it needs something different. Read the science on plateaus and starvation mode and you will understand.
  15. I told people I got my gall bladder out. You have to change eating habits so the weight loss can be attributed to that simple!
  16. I quit in December got my February Surgery. With the coughing I did after the tube came out and clearing my lungs after surgery I don't know how I would have done it if I still smoked. I used the level three patches for two weeks to get me over the hump and then stopped. Three months smoke free..I wanted the sleeve more.
  17. I have to take Urisodol twice a day for six months after being sleeved since gallstones are a risk from rapid weight loss.
  18. Skip the mashed potatoes!!! Purée some Turkey meatballs and a 1/2 cup of marinara!!! 17 grams of protein!
  19. This is a tough thing to admit to you dear scale but I am leaving you. It is me not you as cliche as that sounds. But I can no longer be in an unhealthy relationship with you since you refuse to lower your numbers. I do everything I can to be right and you just refuse to do your part. I hope in the future we can be friends. P.S. I am having a wonderful affair with your best friend Tape Measure..he is cooperating! P.P.S Stalls suck..thought I would make a little fun of it 10 days and counting..the infamous new sleeve stall!
  20. I have found it is the things like bending over without bending knees or getting up from a chair or bed that set it off. If you think about your internal stitches like a rubber band around your wrist..if you pull on that rubber band sharp enough you create a welt. So the pain happens as the stitch rubs over that welt. You have to let it heal and be very careful about certain movements.
  21. I have two indents like that..makes me look like I have three belly buttons. As your internal sutures dissolve the indent resolves itself. In the meantime I make fun of my Frankenbelly!!!
  22. I did the same thing on Wednesday bending over and standing back up. Still having some pain today.
  23. I used some baby wipes to make sure everything is good.
