So....First round of March Madness is Thurs March 21-24, so naturally I scheduled my surgery on the 19th so I can watch all 48 first round games while I adjust/recuperate! Yeah buddy!
I figured the Man Room would be the place to post this beca use only a man would be crazy enough to schedule sleeve around sports!

I'm in knovxville, well actually about 30 mins south in a town called Maryville

Premier Protein shakes, 30 grams per 11oz. Premier Protein Bars, 30 per bar, strawberry, Peanut Butter, chocolate... Very yummy.. U can buy at SAMs .

I'm scheduled for January 8th and started my pre-op diet on Dec 26. It's not as bad as I thought it would be. My doc allows 3 shakes and 2 high Protein Bars and a 5 oz Protein dinner with two cups of non-starch veggies. The protein really suppresses the appetite, but of course I have some head hunger. Head hunger is much easier for me to deal with when my physical hunger is under control (this is why I loved the HCG diet). I have also been sipping on chicken broth in between for something savory, which is only 20 calories in a can.
How is everyone else doing on the POD?

Well, hello. I'm originally from The 'boro, still get home several times a year. Mom's side of the family is mostly all still there.

So I'm about 3 months post-op On Thursday, I had my 3 month appointment and my doctor was excited about my progress! I've truthfully been so lucky with this surgery and have not had any complications. I have no regrets and really feel like this surgery has changed my life! Time to conquer the holidays!

I'm 16 days post op and this is my first post here. You can call me piper I'm scootish
I've lurked the forums here pre op looking for answers to questions but I've nenver posted, I'm kind of shy like that I recon. I live in Oregon but I'm from California originally. I wish I had the guts to sit in front of a web cam and pour my heart like so many people I've watched over the last two years on youtube but I think I'm to private of a person (and a big chicken too!). Sadly for myself, I give those people a big Huzzah because they've helped me so much in decision making process of what was the best course of action.
I lost a total of 108 Pre-op because I fired my first surgeon after I lost his required 60 lbs. Believe me, I made the right decision. He quit the practice 6 weeks later and I ended with a most amazing surgon (see my profile) and I couldn't be happier with everything she's done from A to Z. She required me to loose 40 lbs but I passed my mark a bit. I had some minor complications with my surgery, I had a Hiatal hernia fixed which is a common occurrence from what I understand and they found a tumor in my stomach. The tumor tested "low risk" with a very low probability of cancer. I'm glad I dodged that bullet!
