Here's another question. My skin is loose in that area. I'm worried about my skin being loose or thin. Any thoughts on how waxing effects that??

I know exactly what y'all mean. I was sleeved on 12/6/12 and I've lost 85 lbs to date. There are times when I don't recognize myself in the mirror. It's hard to take that. I've been used to a certain image of myself and it freaks me out. People look at me differently now and that's hard too. I don't have to constantly feel like I have to be defensive anymore. I'm sure i'll adjust in time but its going to be a while. It's ok to be afraid.

Here's the thing, you may lose hair you may not. Most people will. I'm 6 months out and started losing mine. It doesn't matter what you take of do its going to come out. I would never ever Change my decision to have the surgery. I'm healthier and my hair is not why I had the the surgery. I can get a wig if I need to. I'm down 83lbs and have never felt better. :-)

Don't get me wrong. I don't regret my surgery for one minute!! I wear wigs if I have too. Hair is a small price to pay for my new healthier self!

As I'm taking a shower today and watching the drain catcher catch all of my once full hair I ask, why can't my hair on my legs, underarms, and bikini area fall out? Why does it have to be the hair on my head? *le sigh*

I'm six months out and I have loose skin on my arms, inner thighs, and tummy. It's not too bad. I too will get a lift eventually. I can always tell when I'm loosing more weight because it looks different. I'm living with it. I'm gonna be a skinny b***h damnit!!

I was on my period the day of surgery. I was wearing a tampon and they made me take it out and put a huge pad on. The nurses weren't concerned at all about it. Didn't shave. Figured my body would have enough irritation. Lol

I have literally been the fat kid of my family since I was 4 or 5. When I go back home later this year, that will not be true anymore!! ????

I don't know what's so easy about getting your stomach cut out. I've been forced to change my lifestyle and since obesity is 80% heredity per my surgeon, it was the only real choice I had left. I've decided to stay alive for my children. They don't need a mother who dies young. My surgery was the only choice and not the easiest.

As a personal banker, I can tell you that a bank will place it on hold because they are not always paid. With that said, since you've been with them for so long, ask them to work with you. Ask for a portion and then see of they will release some of it early. Go to someone that you work with on a regular basis.

Oh I'm enjoying it!! My husband hasn't been able to pick me up in 10 years. I still feel in my head that I way 300 lbs. I'm not used to it yet. Lol

My hubs picked me up during sex last night. First time eva!! It was so freakin awesome but it scared me. Lol

I'm 6 months out and I've lost 83 lbs. I started at 310 and now I'm at 223. I expect to loose 100lbs but after that I'm not sure. My 6 month checkup is in a week so I will sure be taking to the doc about it.
