  1. Mine make it out and I have to apologize and forewarn people. Now the gas is another thing. My stomach is so loud!!
  2. I was sleeved on 12/6. My starting weight was 310. I'm now 275 three weeks out. Can't beat 35 pounds!!
  3. Are the clothes still available?????
  4. I find that if I eat too fast or too much, that I will start to feel sleepy and will feel real hot like I'm running fever. It takes about 20 minutes to pass.
  5. What I always thought was funny is that people were eating during the biggest loser. I think it's a circus. I mean they exploit everyone now!!

  10. Looks like about 2 oz. I can only eat about 1/4 c these cans are small and perfect for me. :-)
  11. Found a good one on pinterest. Can of chicken, avacado, cliantro, lime juice, salt and pepper. No mayo and it's really good when you purée!!!
  12. Well the first picture is from about April. The picture below is from the day of my surgery. Pictures really do help!
  13. My doc actually looked at my gallbladder before surgery and found 3 gallstones. They took out my gallbladder during surgery. Did they not do a sonogram before surgery? I hear of so many people needing to have it out afterwords.
  14. Yep 13th generation Cajun and proud! Food has been a major player in my life thus far so I'm trying to adjust. :-)
  15. This is very helpful. Thanks everyone! I had Greek yogurt with banana protein power and 1% milk to make it smooth and I had diarreha. I had the same kind of episodes before surgery just not as violent. I'll stick with almond milk and try the lactaid.
  16. So I just had fage geek yogurt with 1 scoop of banana cream protein and enough 1% milk to mix it smooth. Tastes like a tangy banana pudding with 44g of protein!!!
  17. Sounds like you're doing well! The anesthesia is killer. I was so amazed at how I could feel that my stomach was so small. It's almost like I could feel the water in there. I'm not hungry at all. I have to remind myself to eat. I tried some eggs this morning. It's the kind in the carton so they were real soft and had 6g of protein. Wasnt bad at all.
  18. I'm in TX and my doc ha them listed on the 3 week list of protien.
  19. I just started purée today and I can have fat-free refried beans with a pinch of cheese. :-)
  20. So I went to my 2 week check up. Sleeved on 12/6. I'm at 281. I'm down from 310. I'm happy with it. I've been released to excersise. Woo hoo!!
  21. Today was my first day back to work. I'm 11 days post op. it wasnt so bad. I'm really tired and tried avoiding bending over too much. I'm taking some pain meds tonight!! Does anyone get dizzy?

  23. Heatherr, we're going to Vegas next year for out 10 yr anniversary so raunchy can be arranged!!
  24. The empty stomach thing helped. Thank you so much!! I'm on week 2 post op and I've been taking them kind of as a meal but I feel like I want to vomit. I really m scared to vomit.
