  1. My drs post op says day 3-17 to do full liquids. I have also seen other post op diets say no full liquids until day 7. Im currently 5days post op and wondering if its a good idea to begin drinking my champion nutrition whey protein stack shakes? I mix them with 20oz of water so they are fairly thin and could easily be sipped through a straw. It has the consistency of a clear liquid its justnot clear. Thoughts? When did you begin protein drinks besides unflavored mixed with clear liquids
  2. I was sleeved this past Monday and was worried I feel weird because I'm "not that fat" with a BMi of 34.5 but there were other low bmi'ers there. Being "not that fat" had made me question my surgery decision but seeing others there gave me ease I'm down 11 lbs so far:)
  3. Is there any danger early after surgery of drinking too much clear liquids at a time? I'm 4 days post op and can drink quite a bit of clear liquids in one sitting without any trouble or pain. Mind you I sip it all but I'm wondering if I can problems with my sleeve by drinking too much at this point

Ugh yeah the first night after surgery the broth was so salty I couldn't drink it but the next night it was awesome. Never, ind the Popsicles they give-double yuck! Thankfully there's vitamin water and power aide and other Popsicles in their little lobby store
  6. They've been really good about bringing things to my room super super quick. They'll have you sign for the broth but will tell you no charge happy healing! I know I felt do much better once I got to the hotel. I'm heading home today
  7. Just dial 0 from your room and ask
  8. Did you breasts feel swollen, numb and freakishly large right after surgery? Mine are Lol I'm guessing its due to the gas. I just wasn't prepared for it. Also did you all wear a bra right away afterwards? I'm thinking it wouldn't be comfy right now

  20. Just got the nicest email from my uncle, that i would like to share. I am having surgery on Monday and am so blessed to have a family that fully supports me on this journey. His email totally made me feel better Here's the email he sent. Jenn, I know that you must be going through mixed emotions on your upcoming surgery. Just wanted to let you know that my heart and prayers will be with you through all of this. You a strong young woman and will get through it with everything you expect. I will be with you in heart, spirit, and hope. This will just be another chapter that will make you stronger, more determined, and successful. If I had great words to tell you, I wish they would let you know how special you are. But you are stuck with an old Uncle that can wish you nothing but the BEST. Love, Uncle Mac
