  1. Thank you all for your kind words! Sara, that is awesome! It is amazing how much 20 lbs makes a difference . Diva, I am probably one of the most horrible examples because i have a hard time getting all my water in and im not sure of my protein status. I just eat protein and rareLy any carbs. I also have not been exercising as i am always in the books, at school, or being a mom of 2 boys. I am in the RN nursing program and it dictates my life. I really need to get back into zumba
  2. well bless your heart! I sure do appreciate that. I have a long ways to go but i feel so much better already
  3. Here is my progress 227 lbs on surgery day (DEC112012) and 1 month after at 192lbs.Ignore my panties and bra but i want to see it all and how it changes month to month
  4. I hope i did this right! I started at 227 lbs on Dec. 11th 2012 and after 1 month got down to 192 lbs. Here are some pics. I am in panties and a bra because i feel like it is the most accurate view of how my body is changing
  5. mkardh is right. Not only does it thin your blood but alcohol is a irritant. Your stomach still has a fresh suture line and drinking alcoholl can cause impaired healing and irritation. Imagine if you will, pouring alcohol on a open wound. YOUCH!
  6. Dee is right. Being even "overweight" can even put you at risk for miscarriage, gestational diabetes, and high blood pressure (Preeclampsia). Surgery first! It will be easier to get pregnant at a healthier weight too.
  7. I was sleeved on 12/11. Just have faith folks, my scale went up 2 lbs. and then stuck for 2 weeks and finally today (1 day before my 1 month appt.) I hit 199!

  9. Hello! I was sleeved 12/11/12 with a hiatal hernia repair. I have went from 222 pre- op to 209. So, 13 lbs down:)! I am having a rough time getting all my fluids in but i am managing. Protein shakes started yesterday and needless to say i am ready for puree so i can mix my protein with some sugar free white choc pudding. Other than that i am tired, cranky, and having head hunger as of right now. Some days i have endless energy and feel on top of the world and others i have to try to scrape myself from the couch. ONE DAY AT A TIME:)
  10. I am hungry too Clear liquids for 2 weeks, puree for 2 weeks, and then soft food til month four! I was sleeved n DEC. 11th and am finally getting used to clear liquids. Good news is I have lost 10 lbs in 5 days !
  11. Yes,she is absolutely right. Our Hormone are in crazzzzzy mode right now so it is normal for there to be fluctuation in menses, That being said, good thing you are refraining from sex or at least using birth control because fertility shoots out of the roof after surgery
  12. I am 5ft1, started at 222 in a size 16. Had surgery Dec. 11th and am now 213.
