  1. I was 8 mos out when I became preg. I am now 18 days from delivery and have gained 37. I wanted to maintain and not gain but it did not happen even though I eat as much as my 3 year old.
  2. I was 8 mos. out when I became pregnant. I Had lost about 60 lbs. I am currently 18 days from delivery and I have gained 37 lbs. My portions increased from like 1/2 of a sandwich to 3/4 but nothing too significant. My little one is growing huge. she has measured 3 weeks ahead and 98th percentile in size so they think she will be about 9 lbs! I was devastated when the weight kept creeping on but I know I can get it off.
  3. For any of you ladies that tried to conceive after surgery, How long did it take you to achieve conception? I was told that this surgery increases fertility significantly so i am just wondering Thank ya Ladies!
  4. So, i have been guilty of falling back into old habits and my weight loss has been on hold for 3 months! I was looking at everyone's progress and i thought OMG what the heck am i doing????? Well, yesterday i went back to basics and just in that one day i lost 3 lbs !!!! This is a tool and even after going astray for 3 MONTHS it still works. I know there are hers out there that are or have been in this predicament but, you do not have to be. It is never too late to get back. If i lose 9 lbs. a month i will be at goal by December (1 year surgiversary). THAT is soooooo do-able
  5. I am right where you are at sister. We just have to start with the basics Protein, water, protein, water, protein, water!!! It sounds easy but once you have exposed yourself to carbs and old eating habits it is def not EASY! I keep saying i am going to do the 5 day pouch test (In our case, sleeve test). It will rid us of the "NEED" for carbs and make it easier to say "no".Not to mention, jumpstart our weight loss!
  6. Thank you all for your kind words!!! I really appreciate it Rebecca- When i had surgery on Dec. 11th 2012 I weighed 227lbs and i am 5ft 2 so i think my bmi was 41. Lifer- Thank you, he is cute but lord he is mean. I should be 90 lbs keeping up with him
  7. I have lost 55. My weight loss has almost went to a halt for 2 mos but that is my own fault. Just started the gym a week ago so these pics should get better and better.

  10. Okay so, i have not lost weight in 2 mos. and June 11th will be my 6 mos out. I was in my last semester of RN school and i totally stopped going to the doc, stopped checking forums, stopped being a sleever. I am 51 lbs down and my "honeymoon" is over. I called and made a appt with my doc and dietician and joined the gym today. I want to reset my sleeve and i saw that some people go back on liquids. Does it work? and how long? Anyway, I have to get back on track. I saw some old pics last night and i saw the sadness and misery on my face. I can NEVER go back there.
  11. thanks guys! i can def feel it.
