That's terrible!! He should appreciate you for who your are and for staying with his hateful self. He doesn't deserve you and you deserve better. I'm thinking if he can act like this now, there is a good chance he not a keeper. Good luck to you in your weight loss journey.

I love my dachshunds commented on @DomLorenVSG's blog entry in @DomLorenVSG
You look fantastic! My starting weight is about the same as your. My surgery is on Dec 5 and if I look as good as you, I will be very happy. Congratulations!!! -
I am having a really tough day today. If I hadn't already paid I'm afraid I would back out. It's getting closer and I'm getting nervous again. I'm missing getting to eat. I'm just having a major stress day. I hate feeling this way. I know in the long run its the right thing to do. My feet, knees, hips, back and my lungs will be healthier. About 12 years ago I used to run stairs. Now my knees are reminding me about it since I have all this extra weight. Stress, Stress, Stress!!!

Is It At All Possible To Drive The Day After Surgery?
I love my dachshunds replied to lucky8mb1's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My doctor said that I had to have someone drive me home. Sound like from all the post that you wouldn't want to drive even if you could. -

Day 9 - Starting To Feel More Normal
I love my dachshunds commented on Maxxer48's blog entry in Maxxer48's Blog
Joe, It sounds like your are doing really great. I was concerned that after I get my sleeve I would have a hard time getting enough liquids. How often and how much do you drink at a time. I want to do everything right and it sounds like you could give some excellent advice. I am now 3 days into my liquid diet and my surgery is on the 5th of Dec. Needless to say I am very nervous. I do not like to feel nauseous or to be sick. Yuck!! Any advice would really help. Pam -
Hey Tina, You will find so much support here. Worrying is normal, we just have to focus on the end results. My surgery is Dec.5. and I too am very worried. I just try to think about all the pretty clothes I'll be able to wear. How it will feel to comfortable in my own skin again. Good luck with your surgery I know you will be just fine.
-
I agree. My surgery is Dec. 5 and my biggest worry I think is being sick. I just try to concentrate on the end results.

Good luck to you Melody, I bet you'll do just fine.

64 Oz Of Liquids = A Challenge!
I love my dachshunds commented on Zazi's blog entry in From Lapband to Sleeve
My doctor told me I could count crystal lite and other water based drinks in my 64 oz. There is no way I could drink 64 oz of plain water. yuck. Never cared much for water. I am on my second day for my liquid diet. My surgery is Dec. 5th. Excited and scared. -
Sleeve Surgery 11/28/12
I love my dachshunds replied to carly25's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
The doctor thinks that I might have a hiatal hernia. They will check for that the day before and if I do have one then they will fix the hernia right before they do the sleeve. So I will be having two procedures one right after the other. -

I'm Now A Post-Oper!
I love my dachshunds replied to ascooke's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Awesome!! Hope everything continues to go smoothly. -
I don't know why but I put that my surgery was the 7th. It is actually on the 5th. I will be having a dual sleeve. They think I have a hiatal hernia. I will go in on the 4th and they'll check, and if I do they will fix it when I have my surgery. I only told my husband, my two grown children and my best friend. My son wasn't totally thrilled about it at first, but he is not more supportive. The people that say that we're not heavy enough just need to walk around in our shoes for a while. They would soon understand. Lol. Congratulations on almost meeting your goal. That's awesome!! I have read that people with a lower BMI lose their weight slower than people that have more weight to lose. I would rather lose it slower to maybe keep the wrinkles down. At 53, I already have enough. Best Wishes

My surgery is set for Dec. 5th. and I have about 65 lbs. to lose. I have had several people, even some doctors tell me that I wasn't heavy enough for surgery. These people have know idea how I feel. How much my feet, knees and hips hurt at night. I get so out of breath sometimes. I know this is the right thing to do but I am really getting scared. I start my liquid diet tomorrow. Pray for me.

Well Hello Anxiety....
I love my dachshunds commented on simplejaxgirl's blog entry in simplejaxgirl's Blog
I am really beginning to have major anxiety. My surgery is Dec. 7th and I start my liquid diet tomorrow. Sometimes I feel like I want to chicken out. I also think about how nice it would be to buy normal size clothes. I hide when its time to take pictures. Help!!! -
Hello December sleevers, my surgery day is Dec. 7 and I too am having mixed emotions. I am exited.and so very nervous and scared. I have thought about this for years and can't believe it is finally going to happen. I wanted to have the surgery before I got any bigger. I want to loose about 65 or 70 pounds. I just wish I could stop worrying so much. Actually my surgery date is Dec. 5th. I'm having a dual sleeve. I'm not sure why I put the 7th. Lol
