    Any Wisconsin Sleevers ?

I am in Green Bay. Was sleeved 11/12/12 in Milwaukee by Dr Regan. Good Luck!
  2. I too had the remorse. I vomited every hour the first day and a half. I was sleeved on a Monday and went back to work the next Monday. I wanted to die the first few days. And. I thought "how am I ever going to be able to go back to work on Monday?" But.... I finally started feeling better by Friday/Saturday. Remember that your new stomach is very swollen. It will go down and when it does you will be able to get your protein in. As everyone has said, keep sipping the water. Have a Popsicle or hot ginger tea worked well for me. Good Luck! I'm one month out today! I'm also one of those slow losers. :-(. I've only lost 10 lbs. I lost 40 lbs before surgery. So... I'm not too upset, but I'd like to see it start coming off!!!

    Help!

HW. 290 SW 252 CW 244 GW. 140 I lost the 38 lbs from 7/23 - 11/12. Doing a modified Medifast. I will keep on keeping on. I'm trying to be patient. Maybe I'll step up the exercise. I've been taking it easy since surgery. Still kinda sore.

    Help!

I was sleeved on 11/12. 2 weeks ago today. I've only lost 8 lbs. Is this normal? I was hoping/expecting to see a little more progress by now. I lost those lbs the first few days. None since. I'm getting discouraged. :-(

    Help Please

    Maybe try some hot tea.
  7. Sleeved 11/12. Doing MUCH better. 7 days ago if they had offered euthanasia.....I'd have been first in line. I'm SO glad they didn't! Incisions are still swollen, getting almost all of my liquids in and most of the protein. I wish I could drink more. Before surgery I drank 100 ounces of water every day. Now I'm lucky to get 30. I love this forum. I'm also interested to see how others are doing. I'm back to work as of yesterday. I'm still weak, but being in my routine helps me ALOT!
  8. Day 5. I finally smiled today. I haven't smiled done before surgery. I decided to try an unjury chicken broth today. I was able to get 4 ounces down slowly. I stopped there and took a little nap. I woke up a short while later and actually felt decent. I wonder if it was the protein? I hadn't had any at all until then. I got up and ate the other 4 ounces. I'm feeling decent. It was nice to feel my smile once again. Thanks to everyone here! I don't feel so alone.
  9. Wow. It's great to hear that nov 12 sleevers are doing so well. I am a nov12 sleever and I'm struggling to get my fluids in. I threw up constantly the day of and day after surgery. I'm thinking my stomach is still swollen quite a bit. Any suggestions? I have been out and about. I took a stroll through the mall and target today but I still feel pretty yucky.
  10. I too was sleeved on Monday 11/12. I had to dray in the hospital an extra day due to severe vomiting. Worst case of nausea. They gave me three different kinds of anti nausea meds. I guess they helped. I vomited up dried blood for the whole day of surgery and some the day after. I am home now. I'm able to get some water down. Sips at a time. I flavor my water with a little juice or mio. I actually ate 3 baby spoons of yogurt this am. I'm finally feeling somewhat human. I will say this is tougher than I thought but I'm sure it will be worth it in the long run. It's nice to have a forum with people experiencing the same issues. Good luck everyone!
