  1. I will be at Mi Doctor also, so if you wind up going around the same time, we should definitely be in touch! Even if we don't go around the same time, I'll be your March sleeve buddy from afar!
  2. This totally worked! Thanks!
  3. Congrats! Wishing you continued success!
  4. Congrats to you! I think this is great progress. Wishing you continued success!
  5. Congrats! Very happy for you.
  6. Just got a new iPad (4th gen) and I am unable to log in to the VST app from it. The ony place I can get the login button to appear is under "Current Threads", but when I click on the login button it does not respond. I also can't look at the Forums tab--it also does not respond when I click on it. All of this worked fine on my 1st gen iPad.
  7. You look great and IMO, many of the things on your "bad" list aren't so bad at all or won't be forever. Ditto on what everyone else said about not missing out on opportunities for love--if someone really cares for you, it won't matter how much you weigh. Wishing you continued success!
  8. I'm eager to know the answer to this too, as everything I have read so far says that it's pretty much inevitable (eek!), but also that it grows back (phew).
  9. That is amazing and very inspirational! Congrats to you!
  10. How long has it been since your surgery? I am still pre-op, but you may want to look at this information about why the weight loss stalls from time to time: http://www.dsfacts.com/weight-loss-stall-or-plateau.html
  11. You look great and healthy! Congrats! Wishing you continued success!
  12. I'm not exactly sure why some people are able to consume more than others after surgery, but most surgeons use something called a bougie to know where/how small to cut the stomach. The bougies can vary in size, so that might be the reason that some people can consume more.
  13. You look great! Congrats!
  14. Thanks for all of the inspiration, everyone! You all look amazing.
  15. What is the "pouch test"?
  16. You look great! Congrats on your hard work paying off! Thank you for sharing. Wishing you continued success!
  17. You're looking great! Also looks like you need to update your ticker to reflect such an awesome loss! Wishing you continued success!
  18. I am still pre-op, but from everything I've read here it's very normal to be nervous as your surgery date gets closer. Try your best to stay focused on why you're doing it and think of all that you've survived so far. You can also always come here for reassurance. Best of luck to you!
  19. You look fantastic! Wishing you continued success.
  20. Awesome NSV! Congrats!!!
  21. I'm getting sleeved on March 22nd with Dr. Lopez in TJ, MX. Is anyone else getting sleeved around that time, especially in MX? Looking for sleeve buddies near and far!
  22. This is wonderful to hear (and see)! Thanks for sharing--very inspirational.
  23. I was just wondering when a 2013 Sleevers subforum will be added to the Monthly Gastric Sleeve Surgery (VSG) Support Groups forum (or how to add it)? I apologize if I am being impatient; I'm just eager to connect with more folks who will be sleeved around the same time as me.
