  1. Wellll...... My surgeon no more coffee EVER!! So yeah I'm drinking my second cup for the day right now as I write this I had to rebel on at least one thing geesh!! I'm a black coffee girl. But after surgery it was the one thing that didn't taste the same.. So for months ( I didn't take it up again for two months after) I just had a bit and I had to put milk and stevia in it. Now I'm back to black for the most part depending on the day. Oh and I now buy my Beans half and half (reg and decaf) I also must say I have a sleeve of steel not everyone will be so "lucky"
  2. Yep it can make it worse and does for some.. There have been more than a few people here that had to convert to bypass afterwards because it was so bad... But some get better afterwards.. You will see some here that say it was "cured" and they feel great now! The studies on it are all over the place, just like the doctors recommendations. Some will treat and operate some will say that you should not have the sleeve and should do the bypass.
  3. Where do you stop? Well that's a very personal choice.. And I know a hard one! BMI? A number on a chart.. Yet my "goal" is based on that flipping number. I go back and forth too. Am I putting to much pressure on myself and my body to meet this number?? Am I aiming to high? For the stars? Or worse than that...OMG am I getting LAZY or complacent and thinking eh this is good enough?? I'm good here at this number why try and go lower... I'm healthy now I'm happy (not deliriously but it's life right ) and can move about life with ease... So this flipping number?? **** as I'm writing this I realize I have nothing to add to help you so let's blog away!! I'm 5'4 also..
  4. Fast day for moi!! Happy day to everyone today Oh and where are you Clk??
  5. Yeppers down up down... And sometimes it actually stays down! Then I try for the next lower numbers. I don't lose every week but I know this is for me because I feel better
  6. Hi Go to the bottom and on the far right click on the "more" icon that will bring up another page. On that page click on "profile" when you get to your profile click the blank avatar and then it will prompt you on how to do it.
  7. OMG!!! I remember that first picture!!! Look at you! You look beautiful happy and healthy.
  8. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007YURQVU/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?qid=1380134676&sr=8-4π=AC_SX110_SY165 I use them to carry my tuna, hummus or to just nibble on some times, Lol nibble sounds so cute.. More like stuff in my face when I'm "starving" and need some crunch! Well anyway I like em.. They are big 15 calories and 4 carbs (onion flavor) oh and crunchy
  9. Ohh now you have me more scared about downloading the new iOS update o.o Glad your feeling better. And 94.4 Miles?? That's great!
  10. Lol!!! I'll have to remember that tonight should I "roam" Again
  11. Lol I'm envious too! You know I came to the decision a couple of days ago if I have any plastics it's going to be my face. Yes my thighs are a mess and I'll never be able to wear shorts! But it's my face that bothers me the most. It's funny when I was younger I always thought that women who had face lifts where self absorbed and vain. But when I get a look of myself in the mirror I see my mom. And I don't like it (Sorry mom) so the saggy jowls and neck need to go!
  12. Well I don't know of I would consider this falling off the wagon. What you did can be really dangerous. In the beginning it's not about being on a diet for the sake of being on a diet to lose weight. It's about giving your stomach time to heal. 3/4 of it was just cut out and then the remainder of it sewn back together. it is small swollen and fragile. You need to let that staple line heal. I get the addiction to food thing, I do. But now is not the time to make justifications as to why you needed to eat turkey. If you must get nourishment do it with things that won't hurt you. I wish you luck. And I would also suggest a counselor to help you with road to recovery..
  13. I'm sorry but this is not cool. I understand if you don't like his feedback but this? Not cool...
  14. Yes great job! I thought of you last night when I went roaming the kitchen. And I'm proud to say I hung tough and made it through the evening with just a 15 calorie magic pop
  15. Lol I just got a crate of them... They were on sale and I was out. Now I'm trying to figure out where to store them
  16. Wow Jane! It sounds like your plate is full! Yes pun intended Some friends can turn into emotional vampires. I'm not saying these ones are. Its important to provide support but not let it drain you.. I get the same way after eating lots of carbs. Wake up the next day starving! My fast yesterday was one of the hardest.. because of celebratory eating the last week. As far as not fasting until surgery? That's a hard one. Only you know how you will handle it. Which by the way through the past several of years it looks like you handle it pretty well. Me on the other hand? It would be just chipping away at an already weak foundation if stressors where at a high.
  17. Good to hear. Funerals are hard but once in awhile it becomes a celebration of the persons life. Which to me is more fitting really.
  18. I did! Well ok I had I kims magic pop at 15 calories But other than that I did, which is a minor miracle these days! I'm really struggling at night again all of a sudden, so I need to get some control back...
