  1. United States of Tara! It was an showtime Series. It's about a suburban housewife, with children and she also has multiple personalities. Drama/comedy Can't recommend it enough I'd like to check out "nurse Jackie" too.
  2. FYE, I hope things go ok with your father today.. That's a long drive for a doctors appointment.. Cathy, a son in college! Wow I'm sitting here making my 6th grade son waffles... Yep I had my kids old Daisy, You can do it!! M2G, hang in there girl! I know it is slow going... That's the story of my weight loss too. Georgia is right we can't go crazy on feast days (I should know I've tried) It's a sucky fact, but we will always have to eat less and better than the average woman of our weight that was never obese and never yoyo diet But we are doing it so we know it can be done Good day to the faster's today.
  3. Yes the op is only a week out And seems to be struggling by the posts that Ive been reading. To the op. please seek some help. I would strongly suggest you put a call into your surgeon and explain the difficulties you have been having. And as the others have said soda this early out could definitely be dangerous.
  4. Oh you're golden! They will take care of you. Really I had mine in the states and I was in the hospital alone ( just had my mom drop me off) hours after surgery my husband, mother and 17 year old daughter came to visit briefly. I don't know who it was harder for, me or them watching me in pain and getting sick.. I did better alone truthfully it was just a painful time I needed to get through and having someone witness it did not help.
  5. Ack!! I just noticed that you are going to have surgery on friday? Was a ticket already purchased for your husband?
  6. I would not. I would be so worried about him alone while I was in surgery. And also if you had serious complications it might be really scary for him to be the one there with you... Can you bring a friend? If you can pay for your sons ticket perhaps you can make that offer to a friend??
  7. These are the ones I buy (crystals not liquid inhancer) I'm telling you everyone loves it! http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0091CUH38/ref=pd_aw_sbs_2?pi=SL500_SS115
  8. You know Amanda I eat a bit of bread here and there...I used to eat it everyday before surgery! I did not touch it for many months after because of all of the stories about how bad it make people feel and because it bad for you... But we all know I have a sleeve of steel so of course when I tried it, it was fine. Ok lots of things for me are sliders and make me want more. You know the usual suspects chips popcorn sweets.. But bread? Meh I can take a bite here and there even bought a baguette in big sur a couple of weeks ago to have with goat cheese (and copious amounts of wine) it, for some reason does not trigger me? It does fill me a bit yes, but I've not stuffed enough of it to hurt.
  9. Lipstick I drink the orange crush water flavors like a fiend!! They taste just like orange crush I make them (I use extra water because they are strong) put them in the freezer until almost slushy and yum!!
  10. You're doing great! Yep after the sixth or seventh month my already "slow" loss got even slower. Plus my intake became more... Just keep on going! It will come off, slowly but surely
