  1. Ok.... So I read some of the threads you have started, and, well, most if them are full of doubts and fears. At least three are about dying, and several about not being ready so... My take away? My opinion? Your not ready. Plain and simple you are going into this with too many doubts. Now I'm not saying that all of us should just feel "hey no problem let me just take the leap". But I measured the risks and in my case (yes I have children I adore) it was a death sentence to stay obese (serious health problems) I really feel that in your heart of hearts you feel this is not a good move for you? I don't know... But if you go to your profile and look at all your started threads and read them again you might figure out why this might be a mistake. Going in with so many doubts, ends up in regrets most of the time.
  2. Chips! I've had my run in with those this week! They are everywhere in my house right now! (Lots of teenagers hanging out here) they are tasty and I can eat without a feeling of fullness. I must gain control but also request that they not be brought in so much... I'm glad you are posting again, and following the 5:2 group. They are a great bunch of woman and provide great support Blupee, Thank you And I know lots of woman that don't want to lose their "curves" so no offense taken here.
  3. Congrats BFF !!! You are looking great! I didn't ask did C run too?
  4. Lol.. I'm boring I just drink loads of plain coffee (daily) I might have to dress it up a bit.
  5. Lots of good advice here... Enjoy your dress fitting and don't give into the pressure to be a certain number by a certain date! 7 months and 14 pounds until goal? Think about that statement! Think about how much you have done in ONLY 7 months! My word!
  6. Welcome back, Wishing you well with the 5:2 method. There are plenty of us here that follow the plan too.

  9. I remember the first couple of times I cleaned out my closet. I took the big clothes out that didn't fit anymore, but I couldn't throw them away for months! I felt like "what if I need them again if I gain weight".
  10. I did laundry today and went up and down the stairs in my house, does that count?? Ouch! Who just slapped me upside the head?!? BUTTER!
  11. I think a lot of us go through that.... I mean how many times have I done this (lost weight) just to never quite get there or get there and immediately put the weight back on. I made a goal weight and never really even thought it was a possibility to get there. Slowly and surely I am though This is a long tough road but if you stick to it and remember this is for life which means lifelong changes you will successfully do it and keep it off.
  12. Lol! yes if you lose weight your fingers get smaller too My wedding rings are very loose now.
