  1. Wow...I would not take advice from a coordinator Especially one that gives that kind of advice!
  2. Oh by the way I'm a November girl too (the 13th) and yes I know it gets harder. I have my struggles too..
  3. Ok brush it off! No use beating up on yourself now. You still have the sleeve. This is going to be hard trust me. But cut out all the crap cold turkey. Don't starve yourself but fill up on lean Protein and veg only. It's going to take awhile to get over those cravings but once you do. It will be easier to to stick to a clean diet and start losing again.
  4. Oh my you are young! I understand your last fear. But I'm 47 and I think "umm if I live 30 more years can make this sleeve last" Wishing you all the luck and strength in the world to you
  5. Cottage cheese! How do I dress it up? I throw it in the garbage! Greek yogurt (real Greek) is my go to. http://www.naturessunshine.com/Blog/post/greek-yogurt-vs-cottage-cheese.aspx
  6. Lol I get it You could always sprinkle Protein powder on it
  7. And girl. You just had surgery. What you are going through is very normal. You are mourning and fantasizing about food. Hang tough remember why you did this. Oh and it does get easier I promise
  8. Hunger tends to increase for a lot of sleevers around the sixth to seventh month mark. Just stay on a healthy eating plan, you might need to eat a bit more being a man and working out a lot.
  9. Christies doctor? George fielding.. Who does he work for and with? Why Allergan of course the makers of the band! I guess with their new big name Chris Christy it seemed like a good time to let this rip... New Allergan Lap-Band commercial April 10, 2013 Allergan has a new commercial featuring George Fielding MD. Dr. Fielding is an expert New York Bariatric surgeon. Follow the money. He's a politician...
  10. Cheri when you are ready we are here.. Get some good sleep tonight girly and thank you for holding my hand today. That woman was stressing me out! Side note LOVE your new pic. You look so young. That you look like one of those teen moms
  11. Jane it gives me hope to read this.. Disordered eating yes. I hope that in time it will become more of a far of thing just to be aware of... "used food (and now i think I used OBESITY this way) as a ballast. If I was feeling too much of anything, excess food could simply CRUSH the pain, the happy, the anxiety... whatever it was that I found uncomfortable... excess food helped me go numb. I think that is basically what an addict seeks too" This I relate to so much. It was only recently that I put two and two together about the "happy" binges. I didn't understand those. I understood the rest but not the happy ones.. But yes something that made me feel to good about myself or happy made me feel uncomfortable, stressed.
  12. Jane it is amazing how good you are healing! Look at you, you look sexy awesome! I don't even see much swelling. You need to schedule a vacation soon to a tropical place that's going into summer season so you can rock a swimsuit.
  13. I confess that I never forget my calcium because even though it's chalky, it's chocolate flavored, Yep I'm that desperate
  14. Just saw this!! I hope to get out soon so I can post! Looks awesome
  15. Oh and if you don't want to use those calories? I'll take em
  16. Good job Georgia! Brown OMG I could not be that strong! Chocolate anything would drive me over the edge. Ok she's gone!!!! OMG I took her to a two hour doctors appt today. It was very stressful and the doctor and I confronted her on her alcohol use (not what any of us expected especially her) She's an alcoholic but became clean and sober after my brothers death. But she's back to drinking every night and is pissed and says lots of normal people drink wine every night. Yeah... I tried to talk to her about my food addiction and that even though I'm smaller now I'm still an addict. I told her for instance I'm so stressed out I could eat a package of Oreos today and that after she left I will be fighting a secret binge. Even though "normal" weighted people can eat Oreos, I can't. She wanted to know why I was stressed Ok no binges today and I'm at 426 so far.. I might MIGHT make it...
  17. Apparently they are sliders for her too!
  18. I don't know about killed... but my brain cells are dying one by one right now.
  19. IM NOT HAVING A GOOD DAY!!! OMG. Somebody save me! my mother is driving me crazy... Just her taking up space in my home and the simple act of breathing is irritating me... I'm fasting today also, so if you don't hear from me again it's because they won't allow my iPhone in the jail cell. I was going to say I now know why I'm fat. It's because of her. But really? if I had I ton of food right now I'd stuff it in her mouth to shut her up. Ok deep cleansing breath..... In........... And out.......
  20. Edit. Because really? at the end of the day I really don't give a f**k..
  21. Lol! You girls are killing me! And yes Georgia I chuckled Sounds like a pretty good day for all.. Except sarsar the maintenance woman I didn't fast today but I will be tomorrow and I am actually looking forward to it Because I'm stuffed right now. I shopped all day with my mom and didn't eat so I went to town when I got home...
  22. " Laura didn't and I likely won't." Whadda mean won't!!!!
