  1. Congrats on the surgery date!!!
  2. Thanks for the advice! I will have to try that!!!
  3. Thank you so much for the response! I am just worried this isn't going to work for me still even though it's done lol. Cause nothing has worked for me in the past obviously. So I think it might just be that worry.
  4. I had my surgery Dec 4 and I started my full liquid diet 2 days ago. I have been doing everything they have said… eat slow, 500-700 cals, 65 or more grams of protein and 64 oz of fluid. The problem I am having is from the broth and other things I have been taking in, I have never felt "full" yet. Is this normal? Is/did anyone experience this too? Did it change when you switched to solids/mushy food?? Maybe I am over thinking it. Thanks for the help.
  5. Have you tried contacting your surgeon or nurse about these problems?
  6. Yeah I did but if you take a sip of water after it goes away. Or try diluting it in some water perhaps? Or you can always try those protein shots that come in small tubes, they don't taste the greatest but there is basically nothing to drink and very high in protein. Or even with the Isopure I noticed it I dilute it and put it in the freezer till it turns to a slushie form I don't get that film.
  7. I couldn't stand protein shakes. The Isopure that comes in glass bottles really helped me out! They are a little expensive but to me they are worth it.
  8. I had surgery the same day!! Congrats! If you want a sleeve buddy that had it done on the same day feel free to add and chat
  9. Have you tried Isopure? They are different then shakes and taste pretty good. Or you can go with protein shots, they come in a tube and it's not too much to drink for a lot of protein.
  10. All doctors are different with pre ops. If you are concerned I would call your surgeon or nurse and talk to them about your concerns to put your mind at some ease . Congrats on the surgery!!!
  11. Congrats! I just got mine done on dec 4. One day after you
  12. You should def stick to what your doctor suggested. You don't want to have a compilation and get set back at all. You can do it!!!!!!!
  13. It takes a lot of hard work and determination. If you follow what the doctors say and are determined to get the result you want. You will congrats on the surgery date!!!!
  14. First of all congrats on the surgery! I just had mine on dec 4. I had gas bubbles before surgery too. And it got a little worse after surgery (to be expected) but it is getting a lot better day by day. Its because when you are drinking liquids you tend to take in air too causing the gas and since you are taking in a lot of liquids it starts happening more frequently.
  15. Amazing! Lol just picturing it makes me giggle. But hey it might work lol. Good way to get powder in too.
  16. I always say wishes so o me they both work
  17. I am pack a few pajama pants and shirts, my weight loss binder, my pills, and that's about it! Congrats to you and sending you wishes as well. What are you packing?

Congrats. Glad you are well and in your room!!! Mine is tomorrow morning get some rest!!!
  20. My surgery is tomorrow. I worry about that all the time. What seems to help me stop worrying is looking up people on YouTube who had the surgery and are post op 2-more years. Seeing others success.
  21. Yep after trying for so long I can't believe I will be sleeved within the next 24 hours or less. Still waiting for the call to know the exact time, I can't wait!!! Not too nervous so that is good anyone else getting theirs done tomorrow 12-4-12???
  22. I can def tell. Keep it up! Congrats!!!
  23. I did 2. They both went the same. She asked me the basics. Then asked me about diets I've tried, family history of obesity, what changes I know I'll need to make before and after and that was about it. Took 45 mins and paid $25.
