Good Luck to everyone!! we are worth it!

I am so happy to be able to say that I am moving forward to the next step. The Kaiser board will meet on the 5th and 19th of February. I hope I get approved the first time. I did everything and I double checked. I was praying as she was typing the information... "Please let this get approved" Good luck to everyone waiting for approaval and or surgery dates!!

I know I can think of more than that!! LOL But my top three are.1) to have people to see me first and not the weight2) to shop in a non-plus store (clothes are cheaper)3) to be able to wear boots that fit over my calfs (that are cute!!)What about you?

I am so happy to be able to say that, the last few pounds just seemed to take forever! My package was submitted on January 28th and the board will be meeting on the 5th and 19th so I will be in one of those meetings. I wonder is they call you or sens a letter. I can't wait to say I am approved. I started this in late June 2012 and it seems like it took me forever to get to this point, I am just glad I didn't give up and I keep pushing to get to the point were I am now. Glad they located it.... So happy that you have a pre-op appointment, one step closer! What is GBMC? I wish I could go somewhere other than holy cross because of the waiting list!!!

Just checking to see where you are in your process, and how you feel about the process. I am 3 lbs short of my weight goal, and have my next appointment on January 22nd and I am so focused on this 3 lbs so I can have my paper work submitted by February. My plan has been to replace one meal a day with protien shake and eat lots of green lefty veggies! Danni

Sorry for you loss... sometimes family can be great and other times they are worst. I have some minor issues with my mom too, so I can somewhat relate. But you seem focused on YOU and what's best for YOU and I think that's a great space to be in. Good luck with all of the extra stuff that surrounds you, it will all fall in to place sooner or later. I feel excited for what the new year holds!!

I don't find a lot of people on here that have kaiser other than people on the west coast and from what I have read their requirements are different than kaier mid-atlantic.

I have completed my 6 months worth of nutrition appointments but missed my goal by 3 lbs so I have an appointment for Jan 22, 2013 for my last and final weigh in. Then my paper work can be submitted for approval I have one more seminar to attend at Holy Cross hospital. Good Luck to everyone

I can totally relate to how you are feeling. I have been there so many times... But in 2013 I will draw from those feelings to continue to give me strength and motivation to stay on course to get approval for VS. good luck to everyone in the new year.
