  1. I just got my first fill on Wednesday in Tijuana. Dr. Romero told me that the reason we shouldn't drink while we eat is that because the food only goes through the band so fast it can cause the water to go through slowly also. If we are drinking alot, it can cause the stomach above the band to stretch and the band to slip down.
  2. I am so glad to read that other people have had this same pain I have. At my daughters birthday party two days ago, I had to get up and leave because my shoulder and ribs were hurting so bad. And this was 8 days after surgery. I can't figure out exactly when it's going to hit me, after I eat, before I eat, if I eat, or whether or not I am walking or not. It is frustrating!
  3. Wow! I am excited for you! I just had the lapband surgery with Dr. Ortiz 10 days ago and I am hoping for the same success you are having!
