  1. I wish I had done it sooner. My husband was sleeved the same day and he agrees.
  2. Congrats on your surgery!!
  3. I had to do it a few years back and also during most of my last pregnancy. It gets easier, but it's no fun. The bruises look terrible! It will be worth it!
  4. I was only eating 500 - 600 calories a day and I was losing pretty slowly. I increased my calories to around 1000 +/- and I have started losing much quicker. However, I have been working out quite a bit also. I'm sure I needed the added calories to maintain my fitness routine. I agree, each person needs to find their "sweet spot". Where they lose well, feel well, and have plenty of energy.
  5. You look amazing! Way to rock that sleeve.
  6. I've been wandering how you are doing. We've missed you around here. Congratulations on the birth of your precious, beautiful baby girl! Thank you so much for sharing this with is. I'm in awe of how well you are doing!! You're awesome!
  7. You will be missed! Good luck, I think your plan is great. I especially like the fact that you are taking care of you!
  8. You can add me! I'm Morris76058
  9. I had one that did that also. I cleaned it any put steri strips (like a butterfly bandage) on it. It healed just fine after that. Good luck!!
  10. Congratulations. You are doing a fantastic job! You look great! Way to work that sleeve.
  11. I'm so glad you are doing better!!
  12. I really think you will be ok if you just keep sipping. I carry a Water bottle with me everywhere I go. As long as its with me, I remember to drink from it every few minutes. I can now "chug" 4 - 5 ounces at a time when I'm really thirsty, like after a workout. Good luck with your upcoming surgery. Surgery is one of the best things my husband and I have done for ourselves. You will quickly learn what you can and can't tolerate.
  13. Welcome!! This is a great site for information and support. Good luck and keep us posted!
  14. Congratulations and Happy Easter!!
  15. Congratulations!!! Way to hang in there.
  16. You look absolutely amazing! I'm so glad you posted these pictures. I always look forward to reading your posts. You are an inspiration!
  17. Good luck! Feel better soon.
  18. I have had a hard time drinking water post op as well. I started drinking Lemon Propel Zero water. It's not as good for me as water, but its a start. However, now that I have gone back to they gym, I am able to down a 24oz bottle of cold water after my workout. Usually on the drive home I get another 24oz bottle of water down. I'm very thankful to be drinking more water again. Hopefully you will also be able to in time.
  19. My husband and I also went to Dr Quinones. He is an amazing Dr!
