I'm right there with everyone too! I was sleeved 11/15 and lost about 10 lbs per month consistently until now, I've been stalled for a month and I go up and down the same 2 lbs. I wasn't exercising much besides walking and had just started to up the anty and walked 40 miles in one week and lost NOTHING. Now I joined the gym 2 weeks ago, I'm taking classes and hired a personal trainer 2x per week and you know what? STILL NOTHING!! I"m so frustrated and I have lost 58 lbs but still have another 37 lbs to go to my goal weight (although the doctors don't want me to lose more than another 25-30 tops.. um NO)..but I'm afriad that I won't lose anymore.. Whenever I was on a diet I'd do fine until I started to exercise, then I'd stall and that was it.. I was never able to lose anymore and funny but I always stalled between 165-157 lbs and here I am at 162...stalled. I do have PCOS which doesn't help but still , I'm so frustrated. I don't eat a lot at all but get in what I need to Protein and Water wise most days. I just don't get it and certainly hope I'm not going to remain stuck here, I'm doing all I can to kick start it.

ok. I have not posted in quite a while... I had surgery sept 28. Went from 227 to 194 by probly January.. Uhm, I still weigh between 189 and 194!!! BUT, My size 16 pants I bought at the early 194 are now kinda loose, and my top size is now a large in most clothes... I never made an exercise routine/habit, I eat whatever but ALOT less of it, and everyone says every week at church how I am melting away.. I haven't measured lately either.. But obviously, something is happening.. I am happy with how I look and feel, but am feeling the challenge to lose more so I need to make some adjustments. I had not been at this weight in a good 20-25 years so I am also wondering if my 25 year old fat is a wee bit stubborn. I am enjoying my new wardrobe, which is much smaller then my old wardrobe in size and quantity. So that all being said, be mindful of the some of the key points we were given to utilize our tool: don't drink before and after you eat (i ned to get back into that habit), don't drink soda (i do that, DP addict, non-recovered), Protein first, good carbs not crap carbs and exercise... I saw this post on pinterest about marking your water bottle with the time you should have that amount drank (drunk , whatever).. I am working on doing that but 6 ozs an hour may have been too steep for me to start. I suck at drinking Water. BUT, even if I do not lose another pound the rest of my life I am totally happy with my decision to get sleeved! I feel better, I look better and I know it is not over for me yet. I just have to find my formula and stick with it... I recommend measuring too.. I may try to measure this afternoon if i can find my last spreadsheet of measurements to compare...

Right there with you. I was sleeved in December. My weight loss slowed significantly over the past month. I stay the same for a while, then I go down a pound or two, get all excited and the next day I've gained it back. I need to exercise more for sure. I also need to drink more Water. I've struggled with that from the beginning. I'm trying to roll with it and not get too worked up over it. This isn't about who finishes first is what I keep telling myself. It is a lifetime of work we have on our plates

Im 6 months today. So frustrated also, I finally hit onderland like a week ago and now back up to 201. I know its my fault though. I ate a stupid candy bar after I hit 198 and since then it has only gone up and stayed. That is the only cheat I have done through this whole "journey". Damn Im angry at this ****!!!!!

I've lost 85# altogether, 57# since surgery. I quickly moved to the slow loser category after the first 2 months. But slow and steady should mean not too much loose skin. I'm increasing my Water and Protein intake. I read that makes a difference. We'll see. Anyway, I'm glad we have this site to encourage each other.

I too have hit a stall and was sleeved in Nov. As well..... from what I understand this is pretty normal. I was told to increase my exercise and will do this soon. Just bought a treadmill that we just put together.....
I walked for.a.little while on there today and will increase the minutes daily..... Will let you know if the stall breaks because of it....

I´m only two weeks out but I know they told me to expect the loosing to really slow down after 6 month or so. So I guess what you are experiencing is normal. As long as you don´t gain I wouldn´t be worried.

I was sleeved in Dec also and have been in a stall. I also was in the hospital for pancreatitis in April, then had my gallbladder out April 30. I have been kind of bummed but am glad to see that this appears to be kind of normal. We can all encourage each other through this stall. ????

Hi all! I am also in a stall of sorts. My scale keeps telling me that I gain and lose the same lb everyday! Has anyone tried increasing Protein, calories, Water or carbs and found that any of them actually works? There are so many suggestions to break the stall, but surely there's someone that has tried and succeeded. I have 40 lbs to goal and really getting discouraged. I have increased exercise to shock my body, but to no avail. I will keep at it, but feel there's something else I can do. Help!! Surgery date 11/15/12.

One thing to expect is feeling pretty miserable post-op. Some lucky people never feel the emotional pain, but plenty do. A lot of hormones are swirling around, pain meds add a little to the mix, and it's just plain tough the first few weeks.
You will get better. You will enjoy food again. Hunker down and baby yourself. You deserve it! Buy a new nightie, or lotion, or perfume. Order that over-priced whatever you've been denying yourself.
Dream up something fun to do when you are feeling better. Something only a skinnier person can do easily, because you will be that person!

Same problem here except I was sleeved in December. I have slowed down on exercise, but I plan to increase that this summer. I'm still getting praise for losing so much weight. Hopefully, we'll continue to lose over the next year as many others have said on here...the 18 month mark seems to be where the weight loss stops for lots of people with stalls along the way.
