  1. I looked up dry brushing on you tube…very interesting. Supposed to work for cellulite and excessive skin. I wonder if it truley works

Im not exaggerating when I say this, my 'cheese' on my butt and thighs has disappeared probably more than 50 percent since I started dry brushing about 6 months ago. My skin is so soft now and I dont get weird dry Patches like I used to. Its cheap, its fast and even if its in my head, it works for me. Why not try it? It cant hurt, plus it helps with circulation too.

  2. I just looked at mine closely today and it's not good. I feel like I have loose skin EVERYWHERE. I'm like a deflated balloon.

Well there's the problem, dont look too closely :) . Im never going to be a super model and I look a heck of a lot better with clothes on but saggy boobs or not, Im happy as a kid in a candy store being able to wear a (loose) size 10. But without my glasses on, Im friggin HOT lol.

  3. Im 43, started in a TIGHT size 18 and am now in a size 10 pants/size medium top and hve a little excess skin, nothing to get all crazy about. I do take rigorous hot yoga classes a few times a week so I think that helped. What also helped me A LOT was dry brushing. Look it up on Pinterest or Google it. Between the strengthening of yoga and the dry brushing, its been tolerable.

  4. I too started drinking coffee at an early age. Just the smell conjures up memories of my grandparents and comfort. I was never told that I couldnt have it, it was more that caffeine was off limits. But that being said, I just finished my daily cup of joe and will move onto my Decaf green tea now. Ive been having a bold cup of coffee with stevia and sugar free Creamer in the morning and if Im in the mood, Ill one in the afternoon. I also have a sleeve of steel like laura-ven so there really isnt anything that hasnt agreed with me.

  5. I am a natural worrier so of course I was scared but what helped me tremendously was all the research I did. I knew what to expect, when to expect it, what to do about it if something should come up, what signs to look for (positive and negative) and because of all my research I felt very prepared and it really eased my worries. To me its just natural to investigate and research something so serious as surgery as much as possible but Im not like every one else Ive come to learn. When I went to the seminar, I already knew the answers to my questions and was puzzled that the folks there hardly knew anything. Knowledge is power and you can get loads of knowledge from the folks here. So read read and read some more :)

  6. I got mine the day after surgery (it was a week) early then got it again 2 weeks later. It only took a couple of months to get back on schedule but just recently (Im 9 months out) when I got mine I was 8 days early. Im just chalking it up to my body still getting used to being 94 pounds lighter. Ive recently had a 'women exam' and everything was fine so it is what it is.

  7. Dehydration is the thing I think is foremost on my mind. Im used to eating the Protein, having small portions, etc but its the drinking that I have to constantly be aware of. I am more aware than non-sleeved people how much Fluid I am expelling when I go to the bathroom and I always check the color. Dehydration causes bad Constipation issues for me and I landed in the emergency room once because of it. Not cool, not cool at all. So drink drink drink and then have another drink!

  8. I have to eat slowly (it wasnt easy to get used to). I take a bit maybe every minute. I savor it, enjoy it, taste the heck out of it, chew it to oblivion and wait a minute for the next tasty morsel. When Im about 1 bite from being full I let out a tiny burp. Thats my sign for "you have one more bite". I sometimes stop right there but if I do take that last bite I will get the hiccups and that tells me that I better not take another bite or its coming up.

  9. Wow. Im curious how it will work out for him. With us, we personally have to eat slow, watch our drinking before/after meals, etc but in a childs case, the parents have to monitor all that which bears the question, what were they feeding him in the first place to get him to be so obese. He didnt exactly go to Burger King on his own. I hope they give an update in a few years.
