  7. I got sleeved in Monday 2/25/13. I am doing pretty good. Trying to get a my protein in and water. Today I decided to have some Gatorade just to be safe with hydration. I keep getting my water in too but I am afraid to over eat. I haven't felt full yet but I take small sips of the protein shake. I am just now hungry but I know I need to eat. Was anyone else like this? I am going to try and take a cat nap then try some Unjury ckn soup. I haven't felt nausea since being home just once in the hospital when I took 2 sips of the protein shake. Then I got the nausea shot and wallah no more nausea.
  8. I have blue cross blue shield and they said I had to do Nutrician, behavior, and monthly classes. Then when my program ppl thought I was ready then I was brought up and approved to move forward. I started in August 2012. I was approved by the team in December. Had my surgeons appt in January. Got my insurance papers sent for authorization, got my date February 25th. Got my insurance papers in the mail the other day saying they accepted and now I am just waiting for the big day. So all in all 6 months.

  10. Hey I am also Feb 25th. I am in Mass. My only pre op diet is the day before cleat liquids only. I guess my hospital doesn't make people go on liquid diets for long before becasue the insurance company's are getting stricture now and people were going under 40bmi. Which that would be my case because I am exact 40 bmi. Good luck!
  11. Today is your day yay! I hope it went well for you. I am getting my sleeve on Feb 25th. I am nervous but just because I have never had surgery before. My thoughts are I have tried everything, and I want to be healthy again. My concern is that I haven't told my side of the family because they are so negative about people having wls. So, my husband and his side knows because my mother in law just had it. She is doing great by the way, she has lost 28lbs in 5 weeks. Good luck, and your not alone!
  12. I got this picture off of another forum, www.Obesityhelp.com. It gives you an idea of how big. Good luck!

awe, good luck, I am so nervouse to tell my family. It makes me not even want to tell them, because they are SOOOOO against it. There all overweight too but they think this is the easy way out, but it isn't just a tool. I wish you luck! I meet my surgeon on Feb 4 then I schedule my surgery date, I was hoping for end of Feb but prolly beg of march now.

Good luck! I started in August, went to the big meeting then did the 6 week thing with behavior and nutrician, and now I just got approved to go for the surgery. I am waiting for the call to meet with the surgeon, after that it's appts and surgery date! So, I am hoping to have it done in Feb. Good luck! I feel you too, I am antsy.
