  1. WTG Nate, we need a new pic now
  2. Congrats! Hope you have it soon and have a quick recovery. Good luck!
  3. Hi Lander, I'm having mine done on the 19th as well. We can suffer through xmas together Hope everything goes well for you and you have a quick and little pain recovery.
  4. Congrats! Hope you have a speedy recovery.
  5. I would mention it beforehand because I know a few people whose Dr's wouldn't treat them afterwards because they were worried about malpractice; plus some PCPs aren't familiar with WLS and don't know what prescriptions, etc. are allowed, which is another reason they will refuse to treat you. My own Dr. told me her friend had lapband and then her surgeon retired; now she can't find anyone who will touch her.
  6. Sorry you've had a such a rough go if it. It sounds like you should find a different Dr. All the procedures you've done should be "transferable" . Do some research on the surgeon and his office; make sure it's an office of excellence....they are the best for a reason. Good luck, and don't give up!
  7. Mine's the 19th at 7:45 am. Good luck and hope you have a quick recovery.
  8. Congrats and good luck! Hope you have a quick and smooth recovery.
  9. I make chicken cordon blue. Chicken breast or thigh, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, cut up provolone cheese and ham; cook on low for 6-8 hours. Soooo good
  10. Good luck, I'm having mine on the 19th. I hate waiting...I am so ready for this.
  11. My husband snores like a freight train....I seriously wear ear plugs to bed every night.
  12. Good luck and hope you have a quick recovery. I'm set for the 19th myself and can't wait.

  17. Welcome to both you ladies. This is a great supportive site and you WILL have great success with your new journey. Wish you both the best of luck and smooth recoveries.
  18. Ok, that was hilarious and completely believable. In my opinion, I would tell them so they're not shoving alcohol or junk food in your face. Let them razz you all they want, like a previous poster said, they'll be hating it when you're getting all the attention from the ladies. Good luck on your journey.
  19. Hi missyky....mine is to. We're gonna be sleeve sisters Good luck and hope your journey is grand!

My mother-in-law is making me her potato soup for Christmas, since I'm getting sleeved on 12/19. I hope that's far enough out for me to be able to have a bite or 2
