Tonight I mixed crystal light with a vegetable protein powder. It wasn't bad. I should have not mixed it with ice first, and then add the ice.

I'm self pay, and it's the only thing I think about too. It's a big decision. I try and stay relaxed about it, but in fact, I'm a bit nervous. I worry that my old habits will come back and sabotage my wt. loss.

I'm scheduled for surgery on December 17th, and I'm concerned how I'm going to eat while on the road. I travel by plane 3 days a week, and anyone who does so knows that airports are poor nutrition outlets. Any ideas what to pack a carry on? What do you eat? How do you handle the protein shakes? etc. any advice would be helpful

I have UHC, and the surgery is not covered with my plan. I am refinacing my house so I can have this surgery. Any thoughts, My bmi is 44.
