  1. Awesome pics of the souvenir you left in Mexico!
  2. I'm just south of Seattle!!!! Looks like there are quite a few of us!!!
  3. Congratulations on reaching your goal weight!!!!!! Thank you for posting your update with us!
  4. Well done!!! You did it, and you are on the road to the new you!!!! Congratulations!!!!
  5. Looking forward to no longer stretching out my clothes before I can even put them on! Can't wait to buy a bra that does not look like two tents stitched together! My watches are all waiting patiently for me...they want to be worn, and I want to wear them!!!! So sick of not being able to wear my favorite watches. I am really, really, really looking forward to dancing with my kids!!!!
  6. Hey, me too!!!! I turned 40 in January and knew it was time!!!
  7. Bee, I was gluten free for about a year, and I figure if we can do that, we can do anything!!!!! That one is TOUGH!!!!
  8. I'm in April!!! On the 8th, in Mexico. I am counting the HOURS!!!!! I'm so excited and motivated and READY!!!!
  9. Just down the road from you! I'm in Covington!
  10. The plane trip home!!!! I've been working for months w/ a therapist on all the food addiction issues, I feel like I'm working hard and will continue to work hard on that. I know that's a much bigger part than the surgery. Right now I'm worried about making it home comfortably! Crazy, I know!
  11. I'll be at OCC w/ Dr. Ortiz.
  12. April 8th w/ Dr. Oritz. I ordered a bunch of protein shakes - chike, unjury, isopure, nectar - but have not tried any yet.
  13. Sounds like you are doing well with recovery! Congrats!!!! I'm actually looking forward to smaller boobs!!!! I hope it means I can golf! Big tatas = no ability to swing! My girlfriends are asking me to save my extra boobs for them. Poor girls, they have no idea how heavy these melons really are!
  14. Khloe, my surgery is the same date as yours, and I just recieved all my samples today! How funny! Great minds think alike! I got Chike, unjury, and nectar, and 4 bottles of Isopure. I have an egg allergy, but it's only when I actually ingest cooked/raw egg, like a scrambled egg or omlet. I don't have trouble if it's baked in something, so far. But...I got the samples so I can check now, before surgery. Ditto on the epipen!!!! I developed food allergies later in life, and I keep mine w/ me at all times. My oldest has food allergies as well, so I keep two w/ me, just in case. You just can't be too careful!!!!! They make new ones w/ two shots in one pen, hoping to get those next time I get a refill.
  15. Me!!!!! *proudly raises hand and jumps up and down* I'm going to MX for surgery April 8th w/ Dr. Ortiz. I live just south of Seattle (waves at ItsMe!) and cannot wait for my big trip and surgery! Currently I'm 5'7" and highest weight is 252.
  16. Being diagnosed w/ pre-diabetes and pre-cancerous polyps. That was it for me. I don't want to die young like both my parents did. My dad ate his way to a massive heart attack, and my mom died of colon cancer just under three years later. I don't have to take meds for co-morbidities...yet...but was diagnosed w/ pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, high triglycerides this summer, along w/ having to have colonoscopies every three years due to recurring pre-cancerous polyps. I'm done. I refuse to look at my kids and admit I choose food over them. I choose them and my husband and life!
  17. I agree!!!! Not worth it! It's funny though - my friends are the one doing the food funeral, not really me! They are acting like we will never eat together again! I keep explaining I don't want a last meal, I'd be happy just spending time together before the surgery - go shopping, go to a movie, go for a walk, whatever! But everyone keeps saying "We gotta take you out for a last meal!" Maybe they think I'm dying?!?!?! Ha!
  18. Fantastic updates! Thank you so much!!!!!
  19. Hi Amber! I'm also from the Seattle area, also had a great dr. picked out, and then my insurance denied me. I also chose to go w/ OCC!!!! I know we both are in great hands!!!! I'll be there April 8. When are you planning on going?
  20. yay!!! great update, glad to hear you are doing well!!!
