  4. Sleeveofsteel, Welcome to the group. You are doing awesome! Congrats!
  5. I usually lay on the heating pad or put it on my stomach. I don't need it much anymore. I have been lucky I guess. I feel a little weak but that's about it. I keep pushing the liquids. I hope I am getting enough. Hope everyone is getting better and more comfortable every day.
  6. I had mine done the same day.. Oct 17. Nothing is burning going down and I am not burping any. I am able to eat everything I have tried. Jello, popcycles, protein drinks, water etc. I do drink and eat slowly.
  7. Glad you are getting to go home. Try that heating pad for the spasms.. I have really found a new friend in my heating pad..lol I know what you mean about the fart...lol They can be loaded! Hope you feel better soon... I am jappy too! lol
  8. The heating pad relieved a lot of pain especially in my back. I am not comfortable on my back anyway. I just sip water all day. Not thinking I am getting all of the liquid in but close. I have been able to tolerate all the liquids I have tried so far. I start today on a full liquid so we shall see how that goes. I am feeling good all things considered.
  9. My surgery was 2 days ago and it couldn't have gone any better. No nausea, not a lot of pain... of course the morphine helped..lol All in all I was pretty comfortable. Thanks to my heating pad... I highly recommend taking one.
  10. I feel great too.. my surgery was on the 17th... 2 days ago. I am sore of course but otherwise doing great. I took a heating pad with me to the hospital and I am amazed at how much it has helped me. For those who are about to be sleeved. Take a heating pad and lay on it...... it helps sooooo much.
