  1. Same here.. Body jarring!
  2. Im 60 so expecting no butt, boobs to the waist at least, and a crap load of ugly skin! Im going to get a bunch of those spam can keys and just roll it up and tuck it away. I think with all the other issues, a flat butt will be pretty far down my priority list! Tons of well wishes amy! I think you sound better... Theres a joy in your words that i have not heard for a long time.
  3. As I type I can see my hand veins and the finger tendons on the backs of my hands stretching back and forth! Seems so odd to look at my thin wrists and long hands- I was always told I was big boned and never dreamed those pudgy, short-fingered hands would ever look long and graceful! Boy Im lovin all these changes! PS..The caved in arm pits are are also very weird! MGT
  4. Amy.. You are too funny... Focus on that healing and losing. You can reshape your ass down the road! So for you, its throw away the scale AND the mirror!
  5. My plan was liquids for three full weeks then soft cooked veggies like green beans, broccoli tops, cauliflower, asparagus tops, cooked down spinach etc, and flakey fish. The next stage was chicken, pork and raw veggies at 42 days. My final addition will be beef. Seems to me you could puree broccoli or cooked baby spinach for puree. My nut said to be careful of the asparagus stalk and older spinach with too many fibers early on.
  6. Ah gosh amy... So very sorry you have to go through this. Wishing you a lightening speed recovery.
  7. Of course. Thats one situation the sleeve doesnt cure!
  8. Sorry laura... Hope you get some clear answers soon and clearlyn now how to proceed.
  9. Uncircumcised sock?
  10. I actually talk to it in my head! You lousey donuts, cake, chips, etc...you used to suck me in but no more! :throws back head and cackles hysterically:
  11. I did better with protein sports drinks like isopure and designer whey blitz early on. Cut them with g2 or a little water if too strong. Sometimes the shakes are just a little thick the first few days.
  12. Im not Eating bars, but had written down that Quest are the best if i ever choose to get some. I ran the numbers on the chocolate Peanut Butter bars for nugo and quest Quest weight 60 gr, 160 cal, 25 carbs, 20 prot, 5 fat, 17 fiber Nugo weight 50 gr, 170 cal, 26 carbs, 11 prot, 3 fat, 2.5 fiber Guess the message would be to carefully analyze the nutrition label and not assume that each bar in the line has the same nutritional values.
  13. Just a couple of thoughts.... 1 - your stomach has a massive wound and at 8 days... does not feel equipped to tell you its full... Its thinking about healing only 2 - many/most dont feel the full signal until you eat dense Protein. Even if you can drink down a whole shake pretty quickly with no discomfort, those first two ounces of dense protein will most likely instantly give you that signal youre waiting for Just be kind to your pour tum for now without making it deal with more than a few ounces at a time. Just keep working the program and it will work for you. Best wishes!
  14. Total inspiration! Thanks and gratz!
  15. The cauliflower recipe is delicious and was not dry at all.
  16. 6weeks... 500-600/day, 90-100 protein, <30 carbs, <20 fat- about 30 lbs down post op
  17. Wow..way to go kcin!
