Thanks for posting. I am struggling with all the same things. Many more of us are than post here. So the fact that you posted is great.
I hope you can start back again. Remember how proud you were of yourself and how good you felt when you struted around, all sexy?? Get back too it! We can do this. Please see above, I responded to Alma with a food snack idea. Keep us posted and keep the faith. We did it and we can do it again.

I LOVED working with Ron from MBC. I wouldn't rely on hear-say from others. Call him up and talk to him yourself. My husband just ask me to add to this message that he found Ron to be an Excellent Communicator with great follow-up. This is true.

I can only comment on Ron from MBC. I have no experience with the doctors you have mentioned. I had my first contact with MBC back in the fall. Right from day one they were there for me, answering all my questions. Of course, some questions he was not in a position to answer because he is not a doctor. He passed those questions on to my surgeon for an answer. Although I mostly spoke with Ron, on the few occasions when he was down in Mexico doing his research of the doctors and facilities, I had the opportunity to talk with Christy. She is a doll.
Be careful who you listen to when it comes to researching your choice of coordinator. HEARSAY is just that. It can be written by anyone, even the competition. My advice is to go back in the forums and find people who have ACTUALLY used the service. Follow their posts from when they chose the service right through to after surgery. Talk to them. They're the people that will have the honesty, fact based information you need.
I suggest you talk to Ron about the surgeon choices in your preferred location. There are a few that deal with high BMI. If you have the opportunity to travel to PV and Guadalajara your choices for surgeons increases. Dr. Osuna in Guadalajara is excellent and if you plan it right you could have Dr. Lopez working along side her. They are a husband /wife team I loved Dr. Lopez.
I had my surgery 2 1/2 months ago and I am thrilled to say I had no complications and have lost 48 lbs

Omg! I didn't think November would ever get here but now with just two weeks to go I think I'm getting scared! : /

I am booked with him for November 19. The decision was easy when it's all been positive about him. In still a little nervous but ready for the next step in my life. And since we will be in Tijuana for thanksgiving we celebrated yesterday so I could have the fried turkey once more lol about to start my pre op diet so nothing will stop me from moving forward. My husband is going along with me and I think he is more nervous than I am.

I am having surgery with him next Saturday. My friend just had surgery with him yesterday and she liked him and everything went really well

I am going to PV for surgery NOvember 16th. I had started the process here in BC but in September when the forums were stating the Provincial government had implimented cutbacks I decided to research alternatives. I have read only wonderful words of Dr. Lopez and Dr. Osuna. I am confident with my choice of Doctors. 24 days to go!

I had my surgery in Puerto Vallarta by Dr. Lopez on September 21.

hi I'm in PV right now had my surgery yesterday, Dr Lopez is great, the hotel is amazing. My only problem is heartburn, actually had Jello, tea, and apple juice after leak test. The hospital is top notch and quiet. Going to hotel tomorrow is that'll be nice

I'm booked with Dr. Lopez on Jan. 91/ 13. I've heard very good things about him, and if I didn't have work obligations, I'd be on my way now. A 6 year wait list in BC Canada

Hello BC'ers ! I have opted to have my surgery in Mexico. I am tired of the wait here. Been close to a year & haven't even been called for a consult. My surgery date is Sept 26th and I am very excited to get this jorney started. I am on day 2 of my pre-op diet. Any suggestions & places to go for allowable Protein drinks/bars ?
